Just wondering which (if any) next gen consoles you are planning to buy.
I'm going to purchase a Wii as soon as they are released. The movement sensitive controller sounds great for the most part. And it will be cheap.
I will also get a PS3 since it will be Square-Enix's main platform. But I might wait for the price to drop a bit first.
As for the Xbox360 I probably won't get one of them as I think of microsoft as the Chelsea of the console world (sorry football analogy) and I don't like Chelsea.
PS3. Its backwards compatible with PS2 games like Gran Turismo 4.
PS3, definetely. Also, I'm currently contemplating getting an XBOX360, but I'm not entirely sure yet. I might save the money required to buy one and spend it on a new laptop instead.
No way I'd throw down so much money on a PS3, mainly because only a couple of games interest me. I already have a 360 though, and it's been doing great, especially with some recent releases like Dead Rising.
I'd love to get a Wii, but I don't know if there will be enough interesting games out for it for me to justify buying one. I love the games I have for my GameCube, but I only have 3. That's not really enough to justify buying a console for.
I want a PS3 too, but yikes, the price!
Microsoft's consoles can go the way of Sega's as far as I'm concerned.
For the most part I don't know what things are like until I have tried them. So far I have only played on an XBox360 and I am so impressed!

At the moment I am still buying and playing PC games but if PC games get too demanding for my computer then I'll save up for an XBox360 with a monitor adapter and cable so that it'll play on my PC monitor.
I want a PS3 but not sure if I'll have the money.
I fancy trying the Wii to see what it's like.
Well, at the moment, since my brother has brought the Wii, I won't be getting a Wii YET, I may get my own eventually. I would certainly get a Wii if my brother didn't have one already (or he wouldn't share his, but he's fair in that regard - we have no trouble our other home consoles [N64 and Gamecube]) , and I might consider getting an XBOX 360 rather than the PS3, as there are some pretty good games on the XBOX/360 that I like (Halo and Kameo in particular). I have no interest in the PS3 - too expensive, and not really my thing anyway.
