Strong work. No.2 doesn't work due to the "FX" on the background. I'd say keep the Photoshop filters off the work, the compositing is strong enough to carry the concept without the need for anything extra. What does work in No.2 is the sense that there's light coming from the window.
No. 6 and No 8. work best for me. Possibly because the background doesn't dominate the picture, and it's "allowed" to be just background while the house is clearly the focus of the picture but doesn't dominate it. The sense of a line-of-horizon (and one that sort-of marries up with the line of the building) is also strongest in these two.
Just looked at your site. I very much like the excellent "Abandoned Store Front" (not seen above).
You need to show the pictures bigger (like 900 pixels wide) and have each centered in a page with a neutral dark grey background and a 1px border to subtly show where the edges are. Seeing fine photography surrounded by harsh glaring white space causes the viewer's eyes to simply "not see" many subtleties of colour and shadow tone in the image. Putting each image on its own page also means you can put a title below it, the date it was made, and have a copyright rider at the bottom.
I do photography but these pictures make my efforts look quite ordinary by comparison.
Anyway, this is one of part of my bathroom wall where I have been doing mosaics.

They're very powerfull - almost too much. I would love to see you blend the original photo of no.2 with the one after the local equalisation effect. I see this effect used a lot on album covers and in a certain style of TV commercials - and I use it myself. It gives a very dramatic other-wordly feel to a good photo - and I like your compositions. I think my eye would looked longer at your photo's if the effects were confined to a localised part of the scene, or used to a smaller degree. Have you tried using CorelPaint instead of Photoshop?
