Does anyone else watch Bones? Sometimes that show seems like one big aspie in-joke to me, and I've been wondering if anyone else thinks so, too. xD
I don't watch Bones, but unless I'm mistaken that show is made by the same person, who created House. It's pretty clear that House is an Aspie, so it might be a theme with him. Or the creator could be Aspie.
I don't really think House is, personally. ^^; But it's possible they could be made by the same person.
Apparently the Bones books (written by a forensics lady about her own life, sort of) are not aspie-ish which in itself is interesting that they added that to the character(s). My mother has read them; I have not, yet.
I wrote to the author (after reading the forums on the tv channel's website and finding that others, other than me, thought Tempe/Bones was aspie, too) but didn't hear back. I wrote her before doing the obvious and asking my mystery-addicted mother.
I think House has all the antisocial stuff going on, and the tabu-breaking and all that. But I don't know if it's hard-wired or just the way he likes to be... Still haven't got him figured out yet. Like him and the show anyway, though.
Did anybody see the House episode with the boy who had autism?
Dr. Brennan and Zack both seem to have some Aspie characteristics. I love this show! Finally, characters as baffled by normal human interaction as I am.
