I just voted "I have bitten my dentist" to this, I often have the urge to bite my dentist. But I think it is more an urge to shut my mouth and not an urge to inflict any physical harm. I think it was the dentists fault because he was very distrascted, joking with the two pretty young nurses (who he probably chose for their looks rather then skills as dentistry nurses). He was too distracted to notice that he was choking me and did not pull away when I tried to get his attention. It is a good job that I am not scared of the dentist because this was not a pleseant experience. My story should not put you off going though, as most dentists do not behave this way.
I've never had the urge to bite my dentist, but I do get biting urges for people I know well sometimes. I do sometimes act on them too, not hard bites though. Don't even really know why I get the urges. Sometimes I just bite my hands instead.

DIY dentistry - that's what the shortage of NHS dentists is driving people to!

That was why he did it...he couldn't get onto the list & built a drill to do it ( the Dremmel was to big ), he is seeing a dentist now & the only comment made was "one needs a little trimming".Rolleyes...that boy !!!!

How would he have anaesthetised himself though?

He didn't...high pain threshold.
he attended the dentist this am & had two done with & then the dentist had enough time to do a third..but not enough to use the anaesthetic..so he just told him to go ahead.  Cool

nothing to do with Pikachu..

Pika is finnish for fast. it is also japanese for bright.

I'd bite my orthodontist.  He charged me a ridiculous amount of money, made me wear braces and a stupid retainer, and didn't fix my teeth properly.  Wouldn't bite a dentist; I think they're mostly pretty nice guys.  Mine have been, anyway.

Uh... find someone who wants to be bitten, and go to town, maybe? Well, within reason... We certainly should never condone any behavior that causes harm to another person...

I want to bite people. I don't know why, but I always have. This usually isn't an issue, but when a dentist starts poking his fingers around in my main orifice of entry, I get this urge, this urge to bite his fingers off!
How do you deal with inappropriate urges like this?

Get some objects, maybe rubber or silicone made they are very pleasant to bite and won't spill blood!

I seem to recall at least trying to bite a dentist, when I was a kid, not sure if I managed to remove any meat though, it was a long time ago.

I bit a few people during my time in jail though, dickheads who wanted to prove something, I mean, its amazing how they expect you to fight fair, when their the ones starting the fight, especially after biting a big chunk out of one guys wrist Big Grin
