Ji re Autlang.

I'm a little confuzzled about the 'I am not sitting' (ji emen), where 'sit' is listed as 'em'. Shouldn't 'sit' be 'me', so that every verb starts with a consonant and ends with a vowel?

I also think that there should be a list of how to pronounce the graphemes and phonemes.

Great work so far Smile
i understood how it was pronounced, but near the top of the autlang page, there is a slight mistake where 'sit' is translated as 'em', where it should be 'me' (pronounced 'meh')
We still don't have numbers sorted yet. Feel free to add:

0: Qo
1: Yie
2: Co
3: Sar
4: Tor
5: Gur
6: Ba
7: Fee
8: At
9: Nay

10: Yie Du
11: Yie Du Yie
20: Co Du
53: Gur Du Sar

100: Yie Huna
666: Ba Huna Ba Du Ba

1,000: Yie Turo
1,000,000: Yie Miru

I hope you understand how this works. I kept it fairly simple Smile

On another note, it's getting quite hard to come up with short sounds that haven't already been taken.  :?
Great list, but I'm not too sure about vowels paired with vowels to create nouns, for example, if I create a noun with a double vowel or two, like 'iaoc', it sounds kinda weird.

We also need to distinguish between the 'consonant' Y (pronounced 'yuh' as in 'Yellow') and the 'vowel' Y (pronounced 'eye' as in 'byte'). Maybe use a different character for the vowel Y, like µ?
Hey, I always thought lojban would be *the* (more or less) autistic language.
I'm constantly bothered by the annoyances, irregularities and quirks of natural languages, of which none seem to exist in lojban (though I've yet to learn it).
What do you (all) think of lojban? I think it would be a wasted effort to construct an additional language if there wouldn't be any improvements over lojban (cannot see any faults with it so far..)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lojban for the wikipedia article of it.
Ok, remember where Aspies have that problem learning things? Yeah, learning Autlang to me is going to be as hard as saying the alphabet backwards 2000x fast while rubbing your stomach, patting your head, and eating pudding with your feet.
Ok then, forget what I said...
now we should try spreading it to other sites......may I suggest Aspergian Island......
P.S. It sorta sounds like something out of a Tolkein book... doesn't it?
heh heh, I see not much has happened. Amy, the page hasn't been updated in a while. . . .
Heh, don't worry, we all are . . . .its just our level of intelligence. . . .if people think we're speaking in a foriegn language, then we might as well . . .not to say we're following their orders or anything. . .but "whats the point of even talking to NTs if they don't even understand the first thing that comes out of your mouth?

The idea of a language for those of us with autism is  Cool .  I took six years to graduate high school because I could't pass english (anything other than grammar- especially literature) and this was before I was diagnosed.  When I was in HS, I peer tutored students with a wide range of disabilities from LD to MR to ASD and even a couple deaf students (both occuring alone and as a comorbidity.)  I remember asking the special ed teacher for english if anyone ever thought about simplifying english or creating a simplified language to make life easier for these students(and me).  She looked at me as though I had magically grown a third eye.  I explained what I knew of such disabilities and that I have had my own writing system since middle school(not per se "simplified" compared to english).  She said I was hyperlexic and over-thought things(odd that I was later diagnosed with AS  ).  I am visiting the school this coming week and fully intend to take her a print-out of the autlang website.  You all please keep up the wonderful work and I am behind you 100%.

Thank you Maquis. . .

Hey everyone, I've come back with some updates on the Written language of Autlang.

For one, Its nearly finished Smile!

the language seems big but its actually quite small. Though it may be confusing for some, it can actually be learned by all Aspies(or those who care enough to learn). I will begin to create an Autlang Font and give a full tutorial on the written/typed system.

thank you for listening ^_^
With all of this exciting talk about autlang, Nathanael shall think about making a v2 or his own ^^.  Joking joking.  I like this language, though it's kinda hard for me to learn because then I'll be trying to learn 3 at one time.  Yeah---
