Darc Star, surely we can go from 2 onto 3, not leap onto 4, unless we have to.
I will add that shortly, we are currently adding tables to the webpage to make it easier for people to read.
'aut' will be used for all people on the spectrum to avoid the divisions that currently happen with lfa, hfa etc.
aut will also be used for autism.
It could be confusing to have words that begin with 'e' but are not negative. Of course, if we follow the logical course of that thought, we would avoid all words ending in 'l', 'n', or 'd'.

I agree, if we keep simple rules like this it should make the system simpler ultimately.

Amy, I just noticed your link in your signature which says, "Ji la autlang, ra ki?" Shouldn't it be, "Ji la autlang, zo ra ki?"

Can you explain why, I forget. :?

The song in autlang is great ( http://www.autisticculture.com/autlang/autlangsong.wma ).Who is the singer? Does she have any other songs or albums?

I am the singer. I am currently writing a song called 'Neurodiversity'. We will make it available for everyone to hear.

I will also translate it into autlang, any suggestions for the word neurodiversity?

I think 'do you' is unneccessary as it is clear that the sentence is a question.
ji ben dook lek. (we need a word for breakfast - budlek? bud could be morning and lek is food, it would equal 'morningfood'.)
I think undusta is too similar to english.
Dave made some above your post.

BTW I saw you in the chatroom too late. :?
But many aspies do not have problems learning things. And most of us are excellent at learning things that we enjoy, also lots of us enjoy languages.

The simplicity of autlang does give it an advantage over other languages too.
People don't have to learn it, only if they are interested to.
It would be way too complicated to have two mixed up languages, and very confusing.

Are you from New Orleans, by any chance?! (sorry, bad joke...)

I just still don't understand why all this is necessary.  :?:

Some people like to make languages.
(I don't, which is weird since by NT standards I am a foreign language nut, but by AS standards I am not anywhere near being a languages expert).

I am enthused to see things still going strong for autlang, I have been very busy lately with various tasks and haven't had time to update the website with new words, but I hope to have time to do so after xmas.

I believe the best way to do it would be basing the sound of the word on its meaning, so words with a similar meaning would have a similar pronouciation. It would make things alot easier to remember.

A good example would be for the words mountain and volcano from the list above. menta and venta sound similar and have a similar meaning.

I think we have tried that so far, and it's good.
