(It's quite weird, because I'm only 14 and I already like U2, The Who and that stuff, which is normally liked by older people...)

Sorry, I justed sent my message twice, I didn't meant to.

I like David Draiman as a vocalist (But if he doesn't want to be considered a typical nu-metal lead singer, then he should look for another band.)
Amy Lee is another one of my vocalist, but her band is "alright" (I only listen to Evanescence because of Amy Lee)
Nevermore and Behemoth are two of my favorite bands.
Oh, and RIKKI is my favorite (Japanese) folk singer ever

I completely forgot Linkin Park, they've got great songs, and I recently found out I already knew most of them when I listened to them... Silly me

Atrocity (folk metal. awesome
Iron and Wine (acoustic, they aren't that bad)
Ritsuki Nakano (One of the best foreign folk vocalist i've heard, AKA RIKKI)(You may recognize her as the singer for "Suteki da ne" in final fantasy X, but I recognize her fore Miss You Amani
)
Circle of Dead Children (grindcore, 'nuff said)
Nevermore (one of the best heavy metal bands with a near opera like lead singer, ever)
Aanal Natharak (Black, death, grind, kinda blended in together)
Atmosphere (one of the very few rap artist I like)
Nobuo Uematsu (one of the best classical and rock music composer for video games)
Scar Symmetry (melodic death metal redefined)
Melovine (’06 and before, their newer stuff is okay)
Nine Knives (they are not a well known band, but they are an awesome metal band)
Psyclon Nine (one of the best EBM bands I heard)
And thats not even half of the bands I find as my favorite.

Depends on the mood.
Angry - Evanescence (there are another few, but my mp3 player is downstairs and I am lazy)
Happy - ABBA, Erasure
Loving my town - Green Day
Feeling like I do not belong, and do not want to - Depeche Mode
Feeling all lovey dovey - Natalie Merchant
Need some soothing - Bluegrass, Pagan folk songs
Dancing feet - Scissor Sisters, Madonna
Ok I think I will add more later...

I like Neil Young's After The Gold Rush. Prelude did an a capella version, while it is beautiful it does not have the charm as Neil's original version.
