No, no, it must be a cell with chains and a skeleton in the corner or nothing...

First post alert.

I clicked on the tests to do them 'on behalf' of my 7 year old son, then figured I couldn't answer for him so took them myself.

I got: SQ 68 ( Aspie rating stopped at 52, I am an uber aspie,)
Empathy 3 *looks around empty house* yeah, that'll be why then,
AQ 43 ( again Aspie rating only went as high as 35.  I'm going to get me a cape & wear my pants over my tights)
Mind in the eye 19. I guessed. Law of averages worked well for me huh?

I got too distracted on the mind in the eye test, because I kept spotting celebrity faces, Bush, Gibson, Shields, Kiera Knightly etc.

I've been tentatively diagnosed with ADHD ( I got a "yeah, you probably do have it but we need to do official tests" from a doc, then ran for the hills.  No way do I need that on my uni applications, driving license etc) so I figure that may be why the mind one was low, plus all that staring into someones eyes made me really uncomfortable.
Systemising 41

Empathy - I don't know. I cleared the answers by accident and I'm not going to take the test again. And a quarter of it doesn't concern empathy anyway, such as writing down chores. COME ON! D:<

Autistic Spectrum quotient - 32

Eyes - 23 This was poorly executed. I need to be able to see the whole face to determine someone's emotion. The mouth for me is the most important.

That is precisely the reason why I wish to remove my diagnosis of AS through skewing the revaluation, despite the fact that I really am Aspergian. I am 13 so I have no power to ask nicely for it to be removed. Come on now! There's no way I'm going to get rejected from ANYTHING for having "Asperger Syndrome" stamped on myt records! NO WAY IN HELL!

I will continue here.

...with a bit of logic. Mostly I could tell that the eyes displayed that a person didn't look happy, and there was only one choice that wasn't a positive emotion, so I would choose that one. Of course in a real time scenario with no multiple choice answers, it is very hard to use logic and the vague instinctual feelings you get are not much help, yet NTs have the ability to hone in on much more specific emotions, which you cannot tell from this quiz alone.
I am sorry if my posts were not too coherant since I am quite tired.

Also for anybody who skipped to this page, the first half of the above post is at the end of the last page.
I agree, I think I got one right before I looked at the choices. Every other time I either didn't have a clue or I what I thought of wasn't an option so I had to pick the most similar emotion
I decided to take the test again:

SQ: 50
EQ: 42 (I really do care for other people.)
AQ: 35
MITE: 25 (Wow. Lucky. All I really did was try to paint the rest of the face in my mind and use process of elimination. About half of these faces had at least two mouth positions that matched. I really need to see the entire face to determine an emotion.)

It appears in the time since my first post I have lost some ability to empathise and realised that I don't actually care about the aerodynamics of a plane so much. I seem to be just as autistic and I think the difference in the eyes test was due to the randomness of how I chose some answers due to not knowing them but having a guess anyway.

I think I should have put 'I'.

SQ: 66
EQ: 9
AQ: 36
Eyes: 25

The only non-Aspie score, which seems to be the case for many here, is the Eyes test. The interesting thing here is that I am face-blind; that means it's hard for me to memorize and tell apart faces. That must be a different function from reading emotion in faces, since I seem to do just fine when reading faces rather than trying to tell them apart.
