It's true; I have seen a bit of that in my experience, too.
I don't think most PEOPLE are kind people, most Autistics or most NTs.
But there are some "good" NTs (and some "good" Autistics) out there.
And I hope we all can get a chance to meet all sorts of kind people.
If someone makes a post that seems hostile to society or NTs please remember that they are writing based on their own experiences.
I know some people haven't had any (or hardly any) good experiences with NTs, but I hope they will in the future.
Cheap tequila is never a good idea.
What is that supposed to mean?
NT's are overwhelmingly evil beings. Even if you think they're good, one can turn in a second. Trusting them is bad unless you're damn, damn sure, in which case you better be ready to completely lose your faith in that person at any given moment. Bastards.
Replace "NTs" in that sentence with "HUMANS", and I would agree with you.
(not that we have to agree or anything).
EDIT: except "bastards" because I don't like to use a word like that as an insult: it's not accurate. but that's just me.

Yeah. I wondered that. Unless becos it makes ppl trust ppl they shouldn't?
NT'S, I thought we were all the same, human beings.
not aspies, auties or nt's, humans.
Sadly many NTs do not share that view.
Amy wrote
sadly all nts don't share this view.
To me its sad that you have that view about us nts,we are not all the same , some are just ignorant.
I'm pretty sure Amy meant that it's sad that some NTs (or many NTs) don't have a good attitude.
She didn't mean that all NTs have a wrong attitude.
I think it might be partly because this is a support site, so people often come to vent about their negative experiences, and to get understanding for those. You don't need a support group for things that are going well-unless you want to put it as inspiration and hope for others, that is.
This is not a support site - we only recently added one support forum. However, many of us have had negative experiences and it is natural to blow off steam and rant amongst sympathetic company.

Wrong - this is not a support site, please read our aims
Why did the NT cross the road?
Because there were more NTs on the other side!
Eh, I've had some NT friends, Nothing wrong with NTs. They just function differently than us, Dosen't mean it's bad. Although, I find it a tiny bit easier to make friends with other aspies than with NTs. So yeah. We dont support NT bashing at AFF, Some members do it anyway. NTs and Aspies are good and bad alike, You can find good NTs and Good aspies, And Bad NTs and bad Aspies.
NT'S, I thought we were all the same, human beings.
not aspies, auties or nt's, humans.
Ah, Humans isn't a good term either, I'm a wolf =P
So we're using NT to define those sections of the population who aren't Aspie. Ok, that's fair enough.
But I'm not sure I've ever met a neurologically typical (NT) person. Humanity is made up of very many sub-groups, none of which could strictly speaking be described as NT. Many of these groups suffer prejudice just as we do. Many of these groups would be sympathetic to our plight.
True, there are people who are prejudiced against us. Such prejudice is born out of ignorance. No 'NT' can fully understand what it is to be an Aspie.
Many of those who advocate a cure for autism do so (however misguidedly) for the best of motives. Many others do so because they fear difference, or genuinely hate Aspies.
We shouldn't alienate possible allies by seeing all NT's as the same. We should seek friends among to NT population. Educate those who are ignorant of the true nature of AS. And yes, if necessary fight those who would destroy us.
Only this way can we prevail.
As for the recent anouncement that the US is committing 'a billion dollars toward autism research over the next five years'. What a joke: Some will be eaten up in administration. Some will be side-tracked into other projects totally unrelated to autism. And the rest will probably yield results Jon Shestack (co-founder of Cure Autism Now) won't want to hear.
Why did the NT cross the road?
To avoid the shifty looking guy who always avoids eye contact.
They fear what they do not understand.
