The key phrases here, I think are...
"few studies"
"more common"
"associated with"
In other words, few studies that are not at all conclusive.

OK... I know that's a link to page five... but my photo is among those on that page
That's an interesting article. I manifest most of these traits- posterior rotation of the ears with very minor "flopping", a head sized at the large side of normal, mouth corners slightly lower than the centre, and of course we're all far better looking than average! I've also always had very loose joints and suffered a nasty dislocated patella in my early teens, which has made me more cautious ever since.
The mention of disturbed sleeping patterns was interesting. I've only just started researching A.S. because I was resistant to having myself described in terms of a sydrome or disorder, but it seems I might find some answers here as to why I am the way I am. Does anyone have any interesting sources of information they'd be kind enought to recommend to a neophyte? The only thing I've read so far was the D.S.M. section.
I finally managed to take a picture of my ears from the side, and I don't have autistic ears. All I can say about the ears in that boy's picture is that they are CIRCULAR, NOT SQUARE. Someone doesn't know their shapes.
I do have lower mouth corners, which led people to think I'm attention seeking by looking depressed. I'm not. That's the way my mouth looks.
I've never compared the size of my head to others before, so I'm not sure about that one.
this reminds me of nazi germany. one way the nazi's dehumanized the jewish population was by compare and contrast of bodily features, thus claiming the jews to be a differnt variation of the homo-sapian differnt from their own. thus a hatred could be planted towards brain wash.
although I have lower set mouth corners and a larger head, I noticed that not all the people on the picture project had the same features. (exception of the larger head). I would be very weary of actually promoting or participating in this project.
I do not know the intentions of this study but I can tell you it sounds fishy. I dont like it.

Anti-Autism Patrol: Hey! You! Yes, you with the mp3 player!
Autistic Person: What?
Anti-Autism Patrol: You have square ears.
Autistic Person: They're not square, they're circular.
Anti-Autism Patrol: Doesn't matter. You are under arrest.
Autistic Person: Hey! What did I do?

that was my initial feeling as well, but many "conditions" are genuinely associated with unusual and specific features. it can be helpful when a diagnosis is wanted.
That description doesn't fit me.
So tell me folks, do I look
Autistic enough for ya?

The title "what autism looks like" has the sound of unveiling something hideous, but that could just be me being a little PC. :/
I'm 23. I'm still being asked what grade I'm in.
I don't relly have anything too different.
Yep, my facial features, body, etcetera, are all inherited.
I also have quite elven ears.
This is all hugely funny. How many people across the world just got up to check thier ears out in the mirror? lol
Damn, I hate being dyslexic.
I was thinking "Elven ears?? If I had elven ears, I would have nine of them surgically removed."
My ring finger is (4th?) is bigger than my 2nd finger, but smaller than my 3rd (middle). Does this mean I'm gay as well as an aspie?

Following that logic, I must be the biggest dyke on the planet, hahaha... The length of my ring finger compared to my index finger is longer than that of most males I've seen. I am hetero-asexual, though.

Sexual orientation aside, however, I do tend to think and behave in a more masculine way than the majority of women I know. Hell, I'm more manly than a lot of the men I know.
