I'm obsessed with Pokemon! I was seriously depressed when it almost got canceled. And when I found out you could read the manga online, I read it nonstop until my eyes burned. And I have every single American-release CD except Pokemon Live which I can't find anywhere. And I can read and write in Unown. And... well, you get the point.
I, also, am a Pokemon Geek. I'll tell ya something here...I have a ton of Pokemon pictures on my computer's 'My Pictures' folder. I have a total of 109 screenshots of the three main female characters (74 of Dawn/Hikari, 25 of Misty, and 10 of May). I also have a fairly big collection of fanart as well. But my favorite Pokemon-related thing is fandubs. So...do you have any Pokemon-related pictures on your hard drive?

Sucks how it almost got canceled. When it was almost canceled, I was just getting interested again. Pokemon being canceled would've been enough to make me cry. It's scary even to think about.
I'm not so much into the actual episodes as I am into fandubs. Wow, some of those are funny. Too bad my flash player is down.
Yeah, even though I don't just collect pictures of the girls, it is my specialty. I also have a large store of fanart from various sources. One example would be this, from the #PocketMosters Image Board:
Oh, it was TORTURE for me when it almost got canceled. It didn't help that the day I found out it was getting canceled was the same day I found out about all the GSC internal batteries dying... Cartoon Network saved my life.
I haven't seen many fandubs. But for me, it's sort of the same thing, only with fanfiction.
I collect pictures of everything Pokemon. I just collect whatever I see. I have about two hundred manga scans saved on my computer, and that's not even half of it.

Has anyone here read Pokemon Special/Adventures? You can read the first nine volumes online here:

It's waaaaaaaaay better than the TV show. The rest of the series you have to get in Singapore if you want it in English, but even if you have to order it from overseas it's worth it.
Anyway, I just wanted to show you guys the link. I used to LOVE the TV show, like madly. I haven't felt an urge to watch it since I finished the third volume.

I know! It makes me reeeeally hate Viz, especially with that Best Of crap they're trying to feed us. Argh, the Best Of Yellow made me want to puke all over... But seriously, it's just soooo cool the stuff that happens in Pokemon Adventures that would never happen in the show. Like, Team Rocket being interesting. And Green hiding PokeBalls in her dress, that was the funniest thing ever!! And the end of FRLG, which made me cry and I haven't even read it yet.

Almost every Pokemon fan thinks of the TV show as the plague as the fandom. I do watch it now and then, but I agree that it has gone on too long and needs to be put out of its misery... but then that would make me cry. T_T
But seriously, they should end it and make a new show with totally new characters. I mean, Kusaka Hidenori has the guts to do that, so why can't the TV show writers? It's kind of sad, actually...
But I still like to watch it. It's just frustrating...
And Tigger_the_wind, whad'ya mean the eighties? Tajiri Satoshi didn't even come up with the idea of Pokemon 'til 1991.
