I find the narration hard to do, and somewhat stressful, and takes a lot of time and practice.
Would anyone else consider trying? I could email the text to be narrated.
I think everyone just so much loves your voice, they don't want anyone else narrating...
(don't look at me please, I probably have a terrible dutch accent!! dutch accent sounds disastrous, french sounds cute, italian just as cute, german even sounds interesting, but a dutch accent sounds like... a dutch person trying to speak english and sounding like a dutch person trying to speak english and sounding like.... :?)
wow, am I the only one who digs the dutch sound?!
it's almost as cute as japanese people speaking spanish (in which all the sounds are perfect & all the rhythm is different).
Amy, I dig the welsh sound also.
as for me, unfortunately I have a voice noone would want to hear on tv. sorry, can't volunteer.
I would help but I probobly would compleatly screw it up, plus I have a midwestern united states accent.

Isn't that the accent that news commentators cultivate?

Yep most companies around the u.s. send their newscasters to my state so they can learn to speak with our accent. Why they chose us, I have no clue. We can not agree on the pronounciation of many words, the words for several items, nor is the accent consitent through out the state(at least to us it isn't, mabye it is to otheres). News anchors are constantly being shuffeled out to new and beter states. Usualy they retain the accent except in once case that I remember where he did british news, and used a "british" accent while still roling his R's.
A person who comes to chat room has offered to help and also another forum member, so I hope to be getting some narration done through them.
I would do some narration, but it is pretty difficult for me, too. My voice is not easy to make use of, and I hate the sound of it.
I agree that your voice is very ideal for the project, Amy. It is pleasant to listen to and makes the subject matter go over a lot easier where things like the JRC are concerned.
We've done voiceovers for radio promos and have acted in radio theater. We are very comfortable reading in front of a microphone. What would we need to do?
I'm capable of doing some reading or narration as well, and I have a basic AV production studio here at my disposal. I can do a full video presentation too, but I'm not sure what to present on my own (with no people to interact with). I'm good at camera work and photography, and some of you already found out my editing skills on one of the AutTV programmes. I'm gonna have a look if I can get the "infinity logo" idea worked out on, just for fun and to have a few tricks with FXHome or After Effects, you're free to use it (and to suggest) whatever you see fit.
