Well, this is technically computer related, but computer forum seems to be for tech types while special intrests is more, intresting ;p

Anyway, Aspie Guild Wars'ers - I'm sure we've got some  Cool - I figured it'd make sense to maybe put up a list of players we can add to our friends lists and call on if they're on at the same time and want to form a party

I've also got a couple of other Aspie friends who play GW: Prophecies and we've formed a guild ( [NeVa] ], though it's not strictly an aspie guild, just a group of friends, but we could always form one of our own later or link up our existing guilds into alliances... Anyway, if you play it and want to make yourselves known, just list your character(s) and campaign (Prophecies, Factions or the upcoming Nightfall), and we can add them to our friends lists so we know when folks are on.

I'm not on as much as I'd like to be. I'm sharing a 1GB bandwidth cap and it goes way to quick with the two of us using it. Sad
I hadn't heard of Guild Wars till now. And reading up on it, it reminds me somewhat of runescape, which excites me quite a bit. So my question is, is it actually anything like Runescape?
I'm not sure if it's like runescape - I don't think I've played that game or if I have I don't remember.

It does have a lot of similarities with other 'camera view' RPG's.

My boyfriend, who likes the 'Elder Scrolls' Series of games - Morrowwind is his game at the moment - says the element of finding people to give you quests and having to travel around are very similar.

It also has similarities to World of Warcraft -- except the big thing is you don't have to pay by the month.
