MothersVox has posted a blog entry about public hearings that have been scheduled by the New York State Education Department on whether schools (that is, the Judge Rotenberg Center) should be allowed to use aversives on New York students when approved on an IEP.

These hearings are being held on August 8, 14, and 15, in Albany, NYC and Syracuse, respectively.  Those of us who live in or near New York should plan to attend and let our views be known.
