Maybe others had already posted these [broken] links, but ...

Here is an update of legislation favorable to the Autism Speaks.

Voting American citizens can write to our representatives against this:

PS: I intend to write to my representatives as soon as I can get together a coherent letter.
I am an american citizen living in canada, ( i am also a canadian citizen.. i am able to vote for both countries... however, i have not voted for anything in the states because i have not reall lived their during my voting years...

can i just set something up so i can vote? does anyone know anything about this?? please let me know cuz if i am able to i want to vote against this...

You can only vote on issues if they make a referendum, which usually doesn't happen for most issues.  What you can do is tell your representatives your opinion and they are supposed to listen to us.  I know on the immigration debate I wrote and called and everything and my representatives still disappointed.  But what you are supposed to do is tell your opinion and they are supposed to listen to the most people from their area, plus also use their own scruples/judgement.  Ummm... in theory.

Also, I said "voting citizens" becos I think that's the only ones they listen to, becos you can vote for them, or not.

And as for voting for those people, you can get an absentee ballot which I imagine you can just google it and look for a .gov website about it.
