Watch and enjoy! Autistic TV, made by autistics for autistics.
Download it and then play if you are on dial up, or find it lags.
Two weird things I noticed:

1.You can only stream it from the first mirror
2.The streaming file seems to buffer extremely slowly(althoough this could just be due to my connection, as I am in a hotel with a very spotty wi-fi network)

Thanks for this broadcast! I really enjoyed it.

However, I had difficulty with understanding some of the speech, due to my own processing and accent differences.
Would it be possible to caption it in the future?

Also, when going from the main content to clips, the volume changed quite a lot. Especially for us Aspies with extra-perceptive ears, this can be jarring.
Is there any way to even this out in the future?

Thanks,
Jay

Just like with normal TV its not always possible to keep the sound level consistent. It would not be possible to make captions for all the speech unfortunately, the AutTV that you watched was literally weeks of work on its own, to make captions for it all would take even longer.

Glad you enjoyed it, we are going to start work on more programmes, if anyone wants to collaborate, or produce something for it please do!

Why not make use of a compressor?

How is that going to change the sound level of videos that were made at different times?
I thought AutTV was great! I just wrote in to Link TV asking if they might consider showing it on their station. They're a non-profit organization that shows documentaries with different political views than what the mainstream media wants you to hear. They've answered me pretty quickly before, so hopefully I'll have a answer from them soon.

The AutTV show seemed very professional, and is really interesting. It really represents the community very well. Also, I loved your accent Amy.

Processing the sound of the different videos with the same threshold and a high ratio would even out their levels, making them very similar.

It is wonderful to hear your voice, Amy. You speak as clearly as any professional film narrator I ever heard.

LinkTV e-mailed me their information for submitting videos:

PROGRAM SUBMISSIONS

If you are a producer, professional filmmaker or distributor who would like to submit a film for possible broadcast on Link TV, please contact our Director of Acquisitions, Lorraine Hess, at lhess@linktv.org.  Include the title, length and a synopsis of your film.  Please keep in mind the mission and program quality of Link TV when deciding whether your film is suitable for broadcast.  If your program appears to be a good fit, Ms. Hess will contact you for more information.  Unfortunately, due to high volume, we can no longer accept unsolicited tapes.

Good luck if you decide to ask them about submiitting AutTV.  :happyjump:

Do you grant us permission to show AutTV at Autscape 2006, please?

I give permission for it to be shown in entirety. That is to say, not an edited version, but the whole download.

Fine.

By the way - what was the point in including the excerpts from "make me normal"? It seemed to be out of context.

Because many people haven't had the chance to see it, and wanted to.
Very good 10/10

AutTV was well worth watching
