The other side of the same coin?
"Autistics speak - take the time to listen"

SO TRUE!
I posted this elsewhere (same topic):

We're here
We're weird
Get used to it.

I live in a city where weird is considered OK, even good.  I know all Aspies don't want to be called weird, but it is, I think, very analogous to the Gay Pride thing.  Queer used to be a pejorative (I know, still is, but...) until the gay community took it over, took away the power, the sting, of the word.  I think we can do the same thing, and not just for Aspies, but for all autistics.  I passed for normal for a long time, but now I embrace my weirdness and seek out other fabulous weirdos.  If NT is normal, I'd rather be weird.
^ Amen sister preach it!

I want that to be my button for Autie&Aspie Day

Autisitic Pride Day 07

I like it!
Autistics Speak-Take the Time to Listen is my favourite. It truly gets rid of Autism speaks' motto and shows that we are fine the way we are.
