The Autism Society of America is delighted to announce Celebrating Talents, a new exciting art exhibit, created to recognize and showcase the artistic talents of individuals with autism.

Painting, photography, sculpture, poetry and music from around the country will be exhibited at Art for Autism, a unique art show featuring the artistic talents of individuals with autism.

Artists are invited to submit artwork to be featured at the Annual Autism Society of America's 37th National Conference, which is being held in Providence, Rhode Island on July 12-15, 2006.

And then they will use the money raised at that exhibit to build more websites like "Getting the Word Out" that compare autism to cancer and proclaim that we are worthless burdens to society if we are not cured.

The ASA has no shame whatsoever.  It's disgusting.

Any autistic person who wants to contribute to an art exhibit should instead submit their works to The Autism Acceptance Project:

An exhibit will be held in Toronto in October.
I wonder what would happen if you submitted art that brought out their true agenda. Like, a artistic rendering of the curbie programs in the way, they used to make Nazi propaganda posters. It could say, "Cure the Autistics. We have a camp for your children, we can help them, please send them to your local train station for pickup. We cannot guarentee when your children will be returned, but rest assure they will be safe and well taken care of"

Then on the bottom it could say, "Sound familiar?"
