The crazziness of it is that stims back from a previous season of the Apprentise which had as the final episoid of the season the two remaining contestants having to raise money for a charity. Autism Speaks was one of them and some AIDS orginization was the other. Autism being compared to AIDS.
I sent them this -
You should be aware that Autism Speaks is an organization that actively harms adult autistics in its quest to find a cure for autism.
Their constant negative portrayal of autism, their lies in the media about how autism affects families, and their propaganda videos that have spread so much misery, have a very real affect on the lives of adults with autism.
They do not give any money towards helping parents, all of their money goes to researchers, and more advertising.
I hope you can reconsider sponsoring them, there are many orgs that directly help parents and their children with support and respite care.

Well, i was going to go to the outback steakhouse for my birthday, i guess i am changingthat around now! thanks for letting me know! sheesh! people automatically think theya re helping autistics, but they don't get the whole picture!!
