Hello - I was wondering if any parents out there could help me. I work as a social worker and am currently writing a book with a psychologist all about children with Aspergers. In particular we are looking at tips and techniques for coping with a variety of behaviours that Aspergers children may display. John can you please tell us whether this book will recommend ABA therapy, or son-rise, and what type of approaches will it look at in general?

Hi - Sorry for the delayed resonse. It is planned to look at real-life answers to situation for families and parents of children with aspergers. It will look at issues from the viewpoint of psychology, the social world, education and try to offer helpful and holistic suggestions.

What are you trying to address?  Self-stim behaviors or just things that are genuinely destructive rather than simply wierd?
