I went on to Absolute Anime & checked out Tsukiko's profile. In the American verson of Paranoia Agent, Tsukiko is voiced by Michelle Ruff. Ironically, Michelle Ruff ALSO voiced one of my favorite Digimon characters of all time: Zoe! Coincidence? Yeah, more likely than not. But still, I can't get over that ***starts going totally insane***! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!

Strong Sad could be Aspie, or just really depressed. Maybe both.

The more I think of this, the more likely it seems.

I wonder if Angela Anaconda could be a bit AS too.

She certainly has the idiosynchratic language patterns happening.

I am in total agreeance.

What about that loudmouth robot on Futurama? My husband loves that character, not sure what his name is.

Nah. Bender's social problems probably stem from being an alcoholic.

Calvin
from Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes in the newspaper comics (well it's only in books now).

He has a vivid imagination, several alter egos, an imaginary friend, no real friends, an extensive and flawless vocabulary, creative enginuity, and a personal bully.  And he almost always causes agrivation for his parents, baby sitter, teacher, and his classmate Susie Derkins.

If you know Calvin, you know he's an Aspie.

I knew it all along...

posible aspes from anime:
hotaru and ami/amy(sailor moon season s): socally inept- wants friends but cant make them or keep them
inu yasha: bullied for being differant
these are just a few.

What about Sheska from Fullmetal Alchemist? She seems pretty aspie to me.

I've suspected Detective Goren from Law & Order: Criminal Intent has AS. If you've seen any episodes of the show, you know what I'm talkin' about.

...and a sociopath. That'll do it. Rolleyes

True True.

How about Keitaro from Love Hina?
How about Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh? She strikes me as having AS. She's reserved and has a perseveration (cats). I'm sure there are other traits she exhibits, but those are the two that stand out the most.

Anyone else from Love Hina you think is on the spectrum?

Motoko? Possibly.

I wouldn't be surprised in the least.

I just found another trait: lack of eye contact. In almost all the group pictures of the main characters from Azumanga Daioh, Sakaki's eyes seem to be focusing on something else other than straight ahead.

Buster from Arthur just screams Aspie to me.

I agree.

I thought so. How about Mutsumi?

I'm just trying to recall which character you mean. Is it Mitsune Konno aka "Kitsune"?? If not, oops my bad. If so, I'm not sure.

No, I'm talking about the one girl who faints a lot.
