If you watch Little Giants, Jake is a little kid who's clumsy and seems to

have  a lot of problems. He gets picked on a lot and struggles to make friends.
Someone I know thinks that Osaka from Azumanga Daioh may be autistic. I agree with her, even though I've only seen the first couple of episodes. That someone I know has a guild on gaiaonline.com called Aspergian World, which I am a part of, and uses Osaka as the mascot.

Lilo from Lilo and Stitch is also a pretty good example. Look at the way she is socially shunned by her friends, and what is normal to her is completely alien and disgusting to them.
Are Aspergian. >.<

I watch more movies than cartoons, so blah.

Henry Jones (Indy's Father) from Indiana Jones

The museum owner from Night at the Museum (Though the social clumsiness was WAY overboard)

David from A.I (Not sure about this one. David is a special android created to love one person like a mother forever)

Arguably we can't class Robots/Cyborgs et al as being Aspies as thats more a result of them being artificial intelligences (in most cases :p)

In A.I, David was the only android able to set up and go for a goal by himself (find the Blue Fairy and become a "real boy"). He had nearly true emotions and intelligence. A.I is a really nice movie. You should see it. It's by famous Aspergian Steven Spielberg, too.

Isn't it strange in A.I. how you get such an odd combination of Spielberg and Kubrik style? (Because Stanley Kubrik was working on it when he died, ne.)

I don't know. I've never heard of the name Kubrik before.

What are some of his movies?

That's because it's spelled Kubrick. The guy from 2001: A Space Odyssey? I'm surprised you haven't heard of a name THAT big.

I'm really considering at least Rodney McKay (Stargate Atlantis) for the Aspie nomination list. He's definitely textbook. Daniel Jackson is possibly on the edge.

On Star Trek: I'm personally ruling out characters with artificial / android background, partially since these don't behave like Aspies but often behave like computers instead, which leaves me with at least Redge Barclay. Kes is an edge case since she was very shy on the ship but did not show any stereotypical traits. Wesley Crusher is a good example, however.

Other sci-fi shows: Simon and River Tam from Firefly, with River more to the Kanner side of autism while Simon is just socially clumsy but willing to interact, and the Tenth Doctor is definitely a good nominee (if only judging by his 'geek chic' dress sense!)

I've head the title of the movie. Never watched it, though. And you really can't blame me for not having heard the name Kubrick before, me being Aspergian and not well-connected with the media and all.

River does strike me as Aspergian. Not really Kanner, though.

Harry Sultenfuss from the movie "My Girl"? -- remember that one?

How about Keitaro from Love Hina?

That might have been one of my suggestions at an earlier point (can't remember whether I actually said so or not.)

A possibility. He's single minded (especially about getting into Todai because he made a promise to some kid when he was very little -- whether said kid was Naru or not is open to question) and he is clueless when it comes to dealing with women.

...Although mostly I reckon Keitaro is put upon.

Anyone else from Love Hina you think is on the spectrum?

Motoko? Possibly.

I thought so. How about Mutsumi?

I'm just trying to recall which character you mean. Is it Mitsune Konno aka "Kitsune"?? If not, oops my bad. If so, I'm not sure.

Oh! Of course! In that case... um... Still not sure.

Has anyone suggested Charlie Brown? - wiki's write up is funny.
I seem to recall someone may have at some point -- but finding where it's written would take some digging!!!

How about some of the characters from Vicar Of Dibley?

Possibly... The guy who takes the minutes at their meetings -- Damn what's his name again?! And possibly Hugo Horton as well.
"Constable" Odo, from Deep Space Nine?

Is Dilbert an aspie?

Potentially possibly maybe.
