I thought Donald and Daffy were both kind of ill-tempered. Cool
"SHOW ME THE SECRET OF THY ELEC-TRICKERY!!!"

Catweazle is WIKKID!!!

Anyway, this is fun. Here's some more. (Which I write on the assumption that some people know these and some people don't.)

1. Hyacinth Bucket from "Keeping up Appearances"
She's always missing other people's body language, and she likes things done her way, which doesn't always make sense to other people.

2. Reg Hollis from "The Bill"
He was described at one point as "Kind of flat footed" and is seen by other characters as the station oddball, and teased more than any other character. He is almost constantly making judgement errors, but is incredibly loyal to his colleagues and dedicated to his job.

3. Lucius Hunt from "The Village"
He has no interest in small talk, and says (Quote from memory -- forgive me if it's wrong) "If I have something to say, I will open my mouth and speak." His relationships with other characters are conducted strictly on his own terms.

4. Will Robinson from "Lost In Space"
His best friend is a robot.

5. The Flax family (Rachel, Charlotte, Katie) from "Mermaids"
... Also show some signs. Charlotte (Winona Ryder) and Kate (Christina Ricci) are both preoccupied with their special interests. Perhaps borderline Aspies?

6. Davis from "Tru Calling"
(Tru's boss at the morgue) He spends much of his time working alone, has very little social skills to speak of, and is the resident expert on just about every topic that comes up. No-one ever questions how he knows so much -- he just does.

Oh, and I was wondering... Possible to suggest the character from the Beatles' "Fool on the Hill"?

"They don't like him,
But the Fool on the Hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning round."

I wonder if Angela Anaconda could be a bit AS too.

She certainly has the idiosynchratic language patterns happening.

I reckon Gadget has ADD.

Possibly Penny is a little AS? Penny was always my favourite character.

And the new post-movie series of Inspector Gadget (With his half-pint clones or whatever the hell they're supposed to be) sucks. I reckon it misses the point entirely.
Hehe. Yeah.

George Sunday / Thermoman from "My Hero"? (If we can include aliens from other planets?)
I think the Doctor from Voyager is part of a Star Trek (and sci-fi / fantasy) archetype, all examples of which have aspie traits.

That is, a character who is in some way not quite human, but is trying to discover how to be human, and through this process he / she teaches humans about themselves.

Other examples from Star Trek (of course) among others are Data, and Seven of Nine. (And possibly Odo from D-S9 or Spock from the original series.)
Actually, I reckon you can because anthropomorphic non-human or quasi-human characters -- even aliens -- are essentially still reflections of humanity.
I'm wondering about Suzuku Tsukishima from "Whisper of the Heart / Mimi-o Sumaseba", but perhaps she's just characteristically "teenager".
Isn't it strange in A.I. how you get such an odd combination of Spielberg and Kubrik style? (Because Stanley Kubrik was working on it when he died, ne.)

Daniel Jackson is possibly on the edge.

In the movie, for sure. (Where - as played by James Spader - he seems to be a lot more "cerebral" than in the series. Although I suppose that would be the result of being a lot less experienced with the army set-up.)

Another question that occurred to me:

Which aspie / autie character are you most like, OR who here do you think is most like certain characters? (Based on what you read)

I'll suggest a rule for answering this and say no insults allowed.

I've head the title of the movie. Never watched it, though. And you really can't blame me for not having heard the name Kubrick before, me being Aspergian and not well-connected with the media and all.

Not at all.

(I did watch 2001 once, and bits of 2010 -- found both quite boring.)

A.I. was much better. And perhaps Dr Strangelove although I haven't seen that one yet.

I was wondering about Johnathan Creek except that his body language is not aspie.

the "General" from "Sheep In The Big City" it was a rather pathetic cartoon but for those who dont know the General became childish & had tantrums all the time, he thought everybody respected him but it seemed like they were just following him because he somehow managed to get the highest position in the army. He made his scientists make a "Sheep powered ray-gun" but they needed a sheep & there werent any in the city & by a twist of fate a sheep moved into the city & he became obsessed with trying to capture it to take over the world. The sheep also fell inlove with a wealthy womans poodle but she had a phobia of sheep so she would always take off her metal wig & hit the sheep with it. On occasion the general would call her to get her help but he always stuffed up the plan & she always ended up hitting him on the head with her metal wig.

I loved sheep in the big city. Very similar humour to Roger Ramjet et al.
