Not only Daria Morgendorfer, but also I think Trent Lane, because I seem to remember him not making a lot of eye contact, and being obsessed with music, but he was also kinda the stoner, but a lot of Aspies are stoners (especially if they havent been diagnosed)
Also maybe Jane Lane, because she's so arty but doesnt have any real friends but her brother and Daria.
I'm also sort of thinking Otto from the Simpsons too. But I wouldnt say for sure.

Oh, and also maybe Doug.

Calvin
from Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes in the newspaper comics (well it's only in books now).
He has a vivid imagination, several alter egos, an imaginary friend, no real friends, an extensive and flawless vocabulary, creative enginuity, and a personal bully. And he almost always causes agrivation for his parents, baby sitter, teacher, and his classmate Susie Derkins.
If you know Calvin, you know he's an Aspie.
What about that loudmouth robot on Futurama? My husband loves that character, not sure what his name is.
Nah. Bender's social problems probably stem from being an alcoholic.
...and a sociopath. That'll do it.
Well, he's a robot. He doesn't have empathy unelss if you install an empathy chip into his head-- thats what they did in one episode and they had it tuned so he could feel Leela's emotions.
I also think Clam from Camp Lazlo is Autistic. He rarely says anything exceeding five words or so, yet is considered a genius (especially in playing Beethoven's 9th on the glass bottle). Definitely an Autistic Savant right there.
Both Invader Zim and Dib from Invader Zim have AS just look at them obsessive one track minded characters who only want one thing and don't really care about anyone or anything else.
I don't feel like reading through eleven pages of posts to check if someone has already said this or not... but I think that Sheen from Jimmy Neutron is kind of Aspieish. His eccentric patterns and the way he obsesses over Ultra Lord, and his voice... I've noticed that the Aspie boys I know have kind of nasally voices, but I don't know a lot of Aspie boys, so I don't know if it's a coincidence... but still.
OK, so his IQ is supposedly below 40. But I'm sure they only put that so all the snooty NT kids could laugh at him, because they usually think that "those weird kids who don't stop talking about one thing and don't have any friends" are stupid.
I've thought about Jimmy having AS, but I think he's just freakishly smart... other than that, I can't find any Aspie-ish traits in him...
Why do you think so?
*coughs* I have a few ideas on who might be aspie... but it's not set in stone, so it'll just be speculation like always. XD
Seto Kaiba from Yuugiou. Either that or his upbringing affecting him... *shrugs*
Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist possibly... and Schieska, too. Maybe.
Lisa from the Simpsons...
... It's not that much. Damnit.
And I've never thought of Shinji Ikari as an aspie... >.< Hmm... maybe? And how would Rei Ayanami be an aspie? Those that have seen/read through the entire series would know she's just a 'dummy plug' essentially...
But then again, Rei Ayanami also has a soul, so she could learn... or maybe Yui Ikari had a recessive "aspie" gene? *raises eyebrow* Hmm...
Wait...
How about Ryuzaki/L or Light from Death Note? *blinks* Speculation... ?
Wait...
How about Ryuzaki/L or Light from Death Note? *blinks* Speculation... ?
Light would be a no, however L may be. From the looks of it he shows a lot of autistic tendencys, although I think Near is more likely.
Brain from Pinky and the Brain?
He is obsessed with taking over the world, is a genius, works well with machines/ electronics, is exceedingly eccentric, has the occasional meltdown, is clueless about people and their intentions, and rarely is correct in predicting NT responses to his plans.
Just a thought (or something like one, anyway). NARF.
Well, that would certainly be something. Two cartoon mice with AS.

Sorry, I wasn't aware that suggestions were limited to cartoons drawn as people. Someone should have specified that anthromorphized characters were going to be discriminated against
. I notice that SpongeBob & crew didn't meet with howls of protest, though. Characters that aren't cartoons at all even got a mention (Vulcans, androids, whatever Odo is, soap opera stars, etc.). Is it only cartoon mice that aren't allowed? What have you got against cartoon mice? They have feelings too, you know. Actually, come to think of it, Mickey Mouse was mentioned earlier. Is it only Warner mice you have a problem with?
Where do I file a protest? Where do I.....Oh, and another thing: you might want to sharpen the batteries in your calculator, Iceman, as you apparently have difficulty counting to one. I didn't mention that Pinky had AS characteristics, only the Brain. Besides, Pinky speaks a fluent, NT. He is most certainly neurodiverse, but not AS. What a preposterous suggestion: Pinky with AS? Indeed not!
Is there a Moderator in the house? I demand redress. I demand Congressional hearings......
DISCLAIMER: In case it wasn't clear, this entire post has been poignant sarcasm.
Sure thing, I just started the thread as making the theme about cartoon characters, because I tend to watch alot of cartoons myself and pick up on cute Aspie jokes in them.
I also wanted to mention, I was watching the show Mike Lu and Og on Boomerang. Og is really aspie, like Mike, (it's a girl, I think she's supposed to be really tomboyish, so she changed her name to a more male sounding nickname) and Og were playing a game, and Og kept getting distracted by animals..and kept referring to them by their latin scientific name.
Sorry for the double post- but OG IS AWESOME! I always end up liking the genius kids in cartoons!
well, Welcome to AFF first off.
also, really, dont worry about double posts; as you might have noticed, we lack an edit button, so it is the solution.
Ok, here's two that you can't argue with:
Gomez Addams from the Addams Family (seriously, the trains, the literal interpretation of Morticia saying all thumbs, the overall eccentricity)
Uncle Fester from the Addams Family (the fetching of a horse in order to "horse whip" someone)
Carter from Hogans Heroes (social awkwardness, literal interpretation, unintentional rudeness, obsession with bombs, naiveness, and much more)
