I have a feeling that Willow from Buffy is aspergers, and that Kaiba from Yu-gi-oh(Yes, sadly I did watch it.) has it.

If your going to go for simpsons characters, go for Martin Prince, Comic Book guy and proffesor Frink. Glaven.

According to this site: http://www.geocities.com/WestHollywood/S...usac.html, Moe has AS or autistic traits...I just don't see it.

Mickey Mouse is Walt Disney in the flesh. The character was actually an idealized version of himself. I don't know if he was an aspie, but he was a hardcore geek of the old class. Merlin, at least the Disney version, is aspie as hell, largely due to having a preposterous appearance, a volatile temper, and a strange yet startlingly logical way of solving problems. Besides, I cannot think of a set of cirumstances under which the phrase "No Purple Dragons!" would normally turn up in an NT's mind.

I only ever saw the 1st episode, but it featured an aspie-like cartoonist girl/woman:

"Tsukiko Sagi"
[contains SPOILER]: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsukiko_Sagi
[contains SPOILER]: http://www.absoluteanime.com/paranoia_agent/tsukiko.htm

Apparently her character changes in subsequent episodes, so I am not sure whether she is really as autistic as she seemed in episode #1.  Now I want to see the whole thing...

I can't say I'm really that surprised, since there seems to be alot of Aspieish characters in Anime. I really love the cute doggy Maromi!

I should go to Best Buy and see if they have a boxset of the series. I really don't like buying the DVDs of a series seperatley, because if the last episode ends with a cliffhanger..you have to wait till you buy the new DVD to find out what happens.

I like Maromi, too!

^Daria, definitely.

How about Mindy from "Animaniacs"?  She only talks in a few stock phrases, repeats herself all the time, calls her parents anything but their names, constantly wanders off after pretty shiny things while totally oblivious to the dangers around her....seems familiar.

Live-action Aspie folk: Try Monk - the show focuses on his OCD as his main issue, but he has a lot of Aspie traits too, including special interests, ability to notice patterns no one else does, overactive senses and social interaction problems.
As for "Star Trek" characters: if "Voyager"'s Seven isn't Aspie, what is?  She's almost textbook behavior-wise, especially socially, though if you want to be technical it came more from spending her formative years enslaved by mind-sucking alien drones than from the neurobiology she was born with.

Wait..."formative years enslaved by mind-sucking alien drones"....sounds like my school years.
I'm surprised nobody seems to have mentioned Shinji Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Along with the plethora of stuff he does in that, like how he's withdrawn and doesn't seem to be able to relate to other easily, there was also a thing on wikipedia about how the  "Absolute Terror Field" (A T Field from the show) could be used to describe the reaction of some autistics to social situations and a few other stimuli.

There's also Rei Ayanami, who is extremely socially distant, and doesn't seem to care or know about a few social things that most people would react to a certain way.

Also, that whole show is just a study in psychology.

How about Keitaro from Love Hina?

That might have been one of my suggestions at an earlier point (can't remember whether I actually said so or not.)

A possibility. He's single minded (especially about getting into Todai because he made a promise to some kid when he was very little -- whether said kid was Naru or not is open to question) and he is clueless when it comes to dealing with women.

...Although mostly I reckon Keitaro is put upon.

Anyone else from Love Hina you think is on the spectrum?

I would guess Wile E. Coyote would be an Aspie because he just has those signs, rather than speaking (except for a couple of episodes, where he's pursuing Bugs Bunny rather than the Road Runner).

Perhaps Sideshow Bob from The Simpsons...or Sideshow Mel, even.

Sideshow Mel is so eccentric and intellectual, he practically screams "ASPERGER'S!!!!!"

I don't feel like reading through eleven pages of posts to check if someone has already said this or not... but I think that Sheen from Jimmy Neutron is kind of Aspieish. His eccentric patterns and the way he obsesses over Ultra Lord, and his voice... I've noticed that the Aspie boys I know have kind of nasally voices, but I don't know a lot of Aspie boys, so I don't know if it's a coincidence... but still.

OK, so his IQ is supposedly below 40. But I'm sure they only put that so all the snooty NT kids could laugh at him, because they usually think that "those weird kids who don't stop talking about one thing and don't have any friends" are stupid.

I think that both Sheen & Jimmy have AS.

Not cartoon characters, but they fit the Aspie description:

Lily of "All My Children" is, as far as I know, the only longterm recurring character on any TV show who has been explicitly declared autistic in the storyline.  She first appeared many years ago as an institutionalized, nonverval child using computers for facilitated communication.  She's since grown up and become verbal, but still has communication oddities and sensory quirks (i.e. wearing sunglasses indoors against annoying light.)

I LOVE LILY!!! SHE'S SUCH A SWEETHEART!!!!!

my mom watches that show, sometimes I listen in and I have to say Lily is my favorite character.

Same here!

Yakumo & Karasuma from School Rumble. They both practically have 'Aspie' written on their foreheads.

Dunno if it's already been said but I have a list:
Eusine from Pokemon
Max from Pokemon
Roark from Pokemon
Gardenia from Pokemon
Crasher Wake from Pokemon
Izzy from Digimon
Kam from Class of 3000
Madison from Class of 3000
Rikku from Final Fantasy X
Strong Sad from HomestarRunner
Marzipan from HomestarRunner

I agree with all these.

I just want to state that as far as Yakumo is concerned, the AS-like signs are more prevalent in the Manga and the 2nd season of the anime (Ni Gakki).
