Hi,
this year, there was suposed to be an Autistic Prde gathering at Manchester Museum of Science and Industry, and there were suposed to be rooms booked, but something happened, and it kinda "bombed" and didn't happen today.
so, to make sure this doesn't occur, we need to plan ahead, and I'm starting now (i know its a bit soon, but, well, never mind).
First thing is, what do you guys WANT to do? do you want to go round a museum? go to a park? movie maybe? just walk around?
second thing, is transport an issue? can we organise transport for people? find bus routes? train times?
What day is best for everybody? is a staterday or sunday the best time?
We all need to work together this time, as I suspect half of the reason that it fell apart this year was that all of the presure was piled onto one or two people, and if things happen with those people, it tends to fall apart, which seams to have happened here.
so, sugestions?
my sugestion is that it is somewhere cool (as in temp), with not too many people, and although a museum is a good idea, I'm not sure that everyone would take to manchester museum of science and industry.
