I just read the PDF. It's beyond me how anyone could see using electrodes, that they have to change around to prevent skin burns from repeated shocks, could find that to not be wholly inhumane.
All else aside, horrible as the "else" is, these are CHILDREN, who need food to be able to grow! This is worse than anything in Dickens' novels, or Abu Ghraib.
Line them against the wall and shoot the bastards.
can we see a link?

Well said brother - I agree! Make every evil NT redneck neo-con globalist facist sadist anti-disabled people/anti-Autistics robot who runs those types of prison-camps like JRC REALLY pay for their barbarian crimes! (I bet the heartless hate-crims who run JRC are themselves part-time drive-by hate-crims and even - in their tweenhood/teenhood - ex-school bullies who haven't changed a single bit in their still-sadistic hearts or brains).

Well done to everyone who spreads the word about this horrible JRC lot.

Free Love and Groovy Peace for all my fellow AS/autistic brothers and sisters,
Steven.

Great idea, let's start killing normals, then they can't help but want us around

No, that's a horrendous idea.  Anything other than LEGAL PROTEST is going to lead to more of US getting hurt, and probably elliminated in one fell swoop.  Try thinking things through before you say them.
No, what I really meant here is - don't send the thugs responsible for the ongoing torture to the firing squad (or the gallows)! What I meant is that these heartless sadists among the JRC officers should be made to pay for their crimes - by putting them under that same mis-treatment themselves and seeing how THEY like it then! And of course, get them before a court hearing and lock them up for very long periods of time (and preferably with the keys thrown into the Atlantic ha ha ha). Most importantly - close down that entire hell-hole! Whoever ran JRC in the sadistic way they did are an inherantly evil bunch who really do need to be publically-exposed for the evil profit-hungry ratbags they really are!

Peace Out,
Steven.

I didn't suggest we do it ourselves. Thats a judge's job. I'm merely suggesting that this crime warrents a death sentence.

It still sounded very violent and vigilante-ish.

I don't think the state has the right to decide who lives and dies, but that's politics.

We have to be watchful of how we protray ourselves and this organization.
Massachusetts State legislators recently killed a bill which would have limited aversion therapy. They have voted instead to send the treatment to further study.

Please write these senators and let them know how you feel. Please don't be rude, but do write them. MA senators tally the \"for\" and \"against\" emails and count them up. And don't worry if you're not an MA or even a US citizen. As long as they can't tell where you live from your email address, then you have nothing to worry. So even our Euro autties and family of are urged to send their opinions.

This is the list of senators who voted:

Voted NO on sending aversive treatments off for further study (this is the good one):
Rep.BarbaraL'Italien@hou.state.ma.us (unfortunately this email isn't working; if anyone can find a working email, please let me know)
Rep.AnnePaulsen@hou.state.ma.us
Rep.TomSannicandro@Hou.State.MA.US

Senators who reserved their right to vote (neutral):
Pamela.Resor@state.ma.us
Deborah.Blumer@state.ma.us

Voted YES on sending aversives off for further study (this is bad):
Karen.E.Spilka@state.ma.us
Thomas.McGee@state.ma.us
Rep.CoryAtkins@Hou.State.MA.US
Rep.JohnScibak@Hou.State.MA.US
Rep.ShirleyOwens-Hicks@Hou.State.MA.US
Rep.StephenLeDuc@Hou.State.MA.US
Rep.JohnLepper@Hou.State.MA.US
Rep.VinnydeMacedo@Hou.State.MA.US

Please email these senators. The more emails they get the better.
Well, that's what I thought too. Ie. that people in disability workshops were generally well treated.

I still don't quite understand how kids get into this Judge Rottenberg centre. Are they wards of the state? Or do parents actually pay to have their kids sent there? If a parent finds out their child is being mistreated, can they remove their child from the centre?

I am surprised that none of the staff in this centre have been prosecuted for assault and/or manslaughter/murder but I suppose they manage to hoodwink the parents and monster the kids into not saying anything against them. Also, because the kids are disabled, they probably aren't seen as credible witnesses.
Gareth, I think it's because these parents are really really stupid!!!!
But is it true that you get punished for sneezing at this place? And, have kids died from having restraints put on them?
I agree the place sounds like a horrible place. I pulled up the website for  this place, and just by looking at the pictures of the place, I would find myself more at ease in a really obnoxious Disco, or perhaps a Casino, than to be subjected to the unrelenting barrage of visual noise their 'students' (read as inmates) are bombarded with 24-7 in that place. --See for yourself, but be forwarned it's truly heinous

Sounds like from that Mothers Jones article, they should say "It doesn't hurt us (people who give shocks at Judge Rotenberg), cause we're Psychopaths and have no sense of fear, empathy, or pain. However, we feel that isn't something necessary to be cured. Much easier for us to get off, shocking children and watching them display fear, like watching mice react to a shock. Oh, did I forget to mention Sociopathy is a close relation to Pyschopathy? No..yeah, well we didn't really think it was all that important.."
