Autistic Pride Day June 18th.
Autistic Pride Day is a day for celebrating for people on the autism spectrum.
It doesn't have to mean that a person is literally proud to be autistic, though many are, it is a reaction against the shame that some people think of when they hear autism and assume it is all negatives.
Celebrating Autistic Pride Day shows that there are positives too, and that many of us strive to have happiness in our lives.
It's a day to just gather together in real life, or online, is possible and enjoy each other's company and have fun together.
It is not a political day, there are no protests.
