What did you use to make them? Looks good.

This is really silly.  I did them in the most inelegant way possible, I think.  

1. Did my designs in MSWord with Clipart + WordArt
2. Failed attempt to discover how to export the whole thing as an image
3. Did a PrintScreen and pasted into MSPaint
4. Saved as BMP
5. Opened in MSPhotoEditor and saved as more acceptable file extensions.

I have never heard of WordArt.
I use MSPaint and sometimes fireworks, but I am not very good in either.

Inside MS Word you can Insert Image and one kind you can do is a WORD ART, where you can do crazy formats on a piece of text.

you can get a decent trial version free and the real version is only $20 which is even less in GBP i think.

Paint is very clunky.  I have only see one person who did amazing things in Paint.  I wish i could remember who it was... someone that was posting on http://IllustrationFriday.com

Yes MSpaint is like a kids version I suppose, my daughter likes it.

PS :  I think i reversed the meanings of DEMO and TRIAL in previous post.  anyway, I recommend Art Rage because even though only half of it works on the free demo, you can still do a lot and it doesn't time out.  And that Microsoft Expression, that is a Trial which will probably time out in a few months, looks amazing but i haven't tried it yet.

You can use the GIMP, its better then Photoshop IMO and its open source and free!  Works on Solaris, Linux, BSD, MacOS X and Windows.

i had been wanting a substitute for photoshop because i don't have photoshop and have been scared-off of pirating anymore software. (by viruses, I mean).
