I am kniting right now (well not RIGHT now, but) I have come upon a snag of soorts.  The end of my work keeps rooling up.  Is there a way to fix or prevent this? Any help please!
Hi! I am a knitting expert.
Sounds like you are using a purl stitch, one row knit, one row purl, that will always result in a curled edge.

To prevent it you need to have a border/edge of simple knit for 4 rows at least.
That will prevent curling.

oh! Thank  you so much Amy!
I have another question.  I am going to help a friend of mine learn how to knit.  Dose anyone have any easy patterns/objects they would recomend to help a person who is blind?  Perferably something without a great amount of shapeing, as that is dificult for me, so I would not know how to help her as eficiantly.  Any sugjestions?
My grandmother was blind.  She used to knit cotton dish cloths.  They were just garter stitch squares.  Cotton yarn does not stretch as much, it is bulkly and it does not split.

Some of the people in the institution where she lived learned to sew on sewing machines (although she claims they had more sight than her).  She used to enjoy weaving on a loom, macrame, doing clay pottery, and gardening.
Thank you very much M.  An easy and usefull project.
