What does your username mean? Where did you get the idea for it?
Mine is a name I gave myself in one of the two languages I'm inventing for one of my stories, Avian. It translates to Heart Sings and I use it everywhere: On LiveJournal, on Elfwood, on all the forums I visit... I even named my half-elf bard character in D&D Luai Lashire. And in case you were wondering, it's pronounced Loo-eye Lash-ear-ay, with the r slightly rolled.
I'm very proud of Avian. It has over 400 words, it's own alphabet, and it's own grammar. The other language I'm inventing is much smaller- I've only just started working on it- but has a beautiful cursive-like script read up and down from right to left. It's called Mystican (or Miiakan, in Mystican).
I'd beter stop now, before I tell you everything about my world and languages.
Makenshi is one of my favorite final fantasy characters alongside sephiroth, I use this name for most things includeing FF11:online. he originates from FFU (the anime series) I am unsure to what "makenshi" means, but he other name "kumo" means mist in japanese. (i think)
you can see my FF11 character(left) and the anime charatcer(right) in my sig.
Cool!
I have an avatar of the Avian character in my story, Sparo, drawn by a friend of mine, but I haven't uploaded it yet because I'm lazy.
lol, I love the Einstein quote in your signature....
"skruw" comes from the swedish "skruv"
and means "screw" like when you screw a screw in the wall,
i choose that name many years prior to my diagnosis, as i always had the feeling that something was missing.
and after the dignosis i changed it to "skruwilus" as i am the missing part i was looking after and not the one who was looking for it.
when i play online games i have the name "skruwilus mcpuff"
te reason for that, i cannot discuss cos of the forum rules.

...en skruv lös?

I got this username from msn when I came up with a nickname but 'Calico' was already taken so it left a few suggestions and I picked this one. It doesn't mean anything because I like my cat, I don't dislike Calicos. She is a Calico and I've had her since I was 10. She's 11 now.
I decided to use my real name instead of a nick for a change. I think it was a subconcious choice made in the belief that this was going to be the place I found and revealed my real self.
Mine is quite a lazy nickname, I use Mozilla Firefox as my browser and thought I'd add the "y" to make it sound more feminine. Boring. It has stuck with me for quite a while now.
Mine is Japanese - vaguely translated, "Kitty" even though the japanese word for cat is "Neko"
"Nyan" is the noise that Japanese children say cats make. (Translation: Miaow.) and "Chan" is a suffix added to make a pet name. (Like "akachan" which means "baby" -- AKA=RED)
This applies to many animals. "Inu" is dog but "Wan-chan" (Dogs in Japan go "wan wan wan") means "Doggy". "Pii-chan" means "Birdy" and so on.
Like for example, the Japanese title for "101 Dalmations" is "Hyaku-ippiki no WAN-CHAN." (Meaning basically the same thing)
Also, in the Japanese dub of "Monsters Inc.", the character Boo calls Sully "Nyan Nyan" instead of "Kitty".
(A-Little-Bit-A-Trivia 4U) And I'm going to include a Devil face because I reckon they're so cool.

My cat is Calico too!! (Well Calico and white). She's very fluffy and almost six.
Bob Bobson is the name of a cartoon character I created in a high school french class. He became incredibly popular umong my small group of friends, so much so that an association was created to oversee production. Unfortunatly politics tore it apart and so he was abandoned in favour of my newest creation "Rock, Paper, Scissors: Jungle Style".
AlexMagnus... Well, this one can be explaned in many ways. Alex is a short form of my real name (Alexander). It's also the reference to Alexander Magnus (Alexander the Great of Macedonia), whose life I am kind of fascinated with. It can also be seen as a reference to my favourite chess player, Magnus Carlsen. Finally, "magnus" means "fighter" in some languages.
I am a cancer born the year of the rabbit.
I think cancers are supposed to be sensitive which is true in some senses, my senses for one.
Rabbits are supposed to be cute I think, which I certainly am. awww.
I was thinking of changing my name to RonkaKnight, a mighty knight from the ruins of Ronka. Or Joaquin, a superstar winger with a hard to pronouce name (it is funny watching people try. Most people say Joe-ah-qwin, but it is actually more like Hwah-keen.)
I hate Bob Bobson, it sounds boring.
Anybody remember the Lone Ranger? The good guy with the white hat. He never shot a bad guy, just shot the guns out of their hands, three nights a week.
Actually, this is a virtual impossibility, especially considering the inaccuracy and poor ballistics of the firearms of the Lone Ranger's era.
The Lone Ranger's name was John Reid, a name which I use frequently.
I always wanted to be just like him, in every way.
Another dream shot to pieces!
The 2736 is my birthday, which probably makes me the planet's oldest diagnosed Aspie. That and a dollar will get me a cup of coffee almost anywhere around here.
