In Irish mythology, Aibell (Aoibhell, Aeval) was a goddess or fairy queen of Munster. She determined if husbands were sexually satsifying their wives.
Irish/Celtic mythology are one of my obsessions. Combine that with having a lifetime of confusing/unhappy relationships and.. you get Aeval.
An "autistic cousin," as defined on the website of the Macomb/St.Clair County Autism Society of America, is "someone who has some autistic-spectrum characteristics to the extent that he/she can identify with autistic folks even if not formally diagnosed." That's where I feel I am at this point...in 2 days I will ask my psychiatrist (who treats me for ADD) about getting AS testing. Until I know, I COULD be a cousin! Or maybe until I know, I AM a cousin? :? Anyway, that's what the name is about.
I have many, many usernames, at least one for every site, and use various methods to derive them.
This one is pretty straightforward, as I do have a few grammars I've invented and a dictionary (still incomplete, but I've had school and video games to deal with recently . I'll probably do more work over the summer). It does NOT come from my alphabets that I invent, contrary to what everyone who knows me IRL is irrevocably convinced of. But whatever.
Most of my new names are words from foreign languages, Irish is a favorite (Siochanna, Scriobhann on deviantart, more elsewhere), I've also got one from German (leser), and one from spanish (eresvaccagorda). Now if I could just get rid of that habit of doubling letters at random (Síochána with two /n/s? The hell was i thinking?)
My AOL name is a song title. On Xanga I go by Neversubmit, as in never surrender. I had many more when I was a simsenator, but there was too much uncertainty regarding the future of many of the sims I was on regularly, and I lost interest in politics for a while. Now I'm just too far out of the loop.
Energeia--coined by Aristotle to mean activity, or something coming into its own fulfillment (like the "enegeia" of an acorn is to be an oak tree). Somehow, it seemed appropriate for this forum.

MOST appropriate. I love it!
trollette---because my husband was given the name troll 11 years ago. He is short, (at the time...) hairy, and can argue a bee out of his honey. He also worked in construction and his co-workers gave him the name. So, when they found out he was married, I automatically became trollette. At the time we did not have a computer and did not realize the "troll" part of our nicknames would cause EVERYONE TO JUDGE US. But If people cannot get to know us before they judge, that is their problem.
Oops, that became almost a rant,.....sorry.
Anyway, that is how I took on my name.
But then in school I was Spaci Staci.
Oh Well.
It's a short description of me: f***** up beyond all repair.
Makenshi is one of my favorite final fantasy characters alongside sephiroth, I use this name for most things includeing FF11:online. he originates from FFU (the anime series) I am unsure to what "makenshi" means, but he other name "kumo" means mist in japanese. (i think)
you can see my FF11 character(left) and the anime charatcer(right) in my sig.
Makenshi (better written as ma-kenshi) means demon swordsman, and the character's full name is Shiro-Kumo or Shiroki Kumo meaning White Cloud. As for his opposite, Kuroki Kaze (Black Wind), better known as the man with the Demon Gun (Ma-gun)
As for my own user name, i thought it up for an RP, it turned into my main screenname everywhere.
My user name is M. Not so much because it is unimaginative but because I like my privacy.
The mysterious M!
I go by Lestat to most of my friends too, in real life, not sure how it started, but I am vampiric, and have naturally pretty long canine teeth, and I dress gothic in general, leather trenchcoat, studded leather gloves, black eyeliner etc. so its not entirely a mystery to me how it came about, but I don't remember the exact time I got my moniker, as have little memory of my early life, and of some of my later life, something happened to be, which turned a large part of that into a blur :?
Either ways, I prefer to be known as Lestat, the only ones that don't use it when speaking to me, are my parents, officiels and the pigs.
Lestat, is here to say  this vampire won't go back into the bottle...oh..shite, thats genies aint it now...........
Mine comes from Ian Moore, first dark lord of the sith :p
Shortly before I joined here, I went through a couple of pages of wikipedia and ended up on the Transformers.......youth nostalgia. Ultra Magnus is one of the characters.
Gemini here, born year of the Dragon..which is as follows..
The Dragon is omnipotent. He is flamboyant, attractive and full of vitality and strength. In China, the Dragon is the sign of the Emperor of China or the male element Yang. The Dragon is the symbol of power and wealth.
It would be right to say that people born in the year of the dragon have a natural charisma and are certainly gifted with power and luck. It is unlikely for them to escape unnoticed from a party or to take second place in a competition. The dragon person has an active mind and shows an unfeigned interest in the world around him/her. This person is also self-confident enough to know how to create a necessary impression. Because they are larger than life themselves, dragon people like to do everything on a grand scale. They are egotistical and ambitious, almost to the point of megalomania, and will stop at nothing to get what they want. A person born in this year wears the crown of destiny, and is capable of great achievements if he or she knows how to harness his or her tremendous energy, intelligence and talent. While these people enjoy being the centre of attention, they also have a brave and charitable side to their personality. If a dragon's friend faces a problem or dilemma, he or she will be there to offer help, and when others leave the field of battle the dragon takes a step forward to solve the problem with authority and dignity. Dragons set a high standard of actions for themselves as well as for other people and are surprised when others cannot cope with a task; they are so carried away by the process that they fail to see other people's weaknesses.
Ideal jobs for dragons include managing director, salesperson, advertising executive, barrister, film producer, architect, astronaut, artist, film star, and war correspondent.
