This was in CAN's newsletter. If anyone is a Honolulu/Hawaii resident, the mayor's contact information is below to write a polite protest letter.

I am a Hawaii but not Honolulu resident.  Mufi Hanneman is one of the biggest jerks in Hawaii politics.  Everybody here hated him for running a dirty campaign about 20 years ago.  He ran a TV ad which showed a picture of his opponent with the caption "enjoys marijuana".  He thought he was going to win for sure but he lost.  I remember seeing him crying on the news when he was defeated.  My college buddies and I had a big laugh.
