People have no idea what rough is. I have ADD but have an extremely high IQ, I speak and act with a air of high intellect, but I am also a high school drop out. I am probably Gay, but act so masculine and straight like most gay men think I am a basher setting them up, so many times I have been told I can't possibly be gay by gay men. I hunt and go fishing so I am a killer I am told, or an animal abuser, by the gay community at large, nevermind the fact that I have 2 dogs and a cat I rescued and they won't leave me side.  I am in the closet and told I need to be out, because I am not true to the gay community in my closet, I am also told I live a lie, because I am closeted by gay men. Gay men say I am sexy but dangerous because In have a NON-Gay job, Private investigators and Baill Agents are never gay I am told. Only people like the Dog on A&E can be bail agents, and anyways I am too quiet and not loud mouthed like him and too reserved. I am a christian so that's obviously NOT gay.

If you have been rejected by the gay community, don't fret, you are probably too well adjusted to be Gay.

I own a Subaru, I hope that would qualify me, but that Monster truck I own cancelled out the Subaru.

Oh adding that I am a gun collector and once owned a gun shop really was the quintesential gay date killer, and Lord forbid if we danced and his hand hit the Glock I carried as a part of my work that was so well hidden. I guess I just a Gay man trapped in a straight mans body.

I hated the persecuting-kind of Christians before I was one, so I try my utmost to be a non-hating Christian.

A hating Christian is a doomed Christian.

Seems to me the gay hating Christians are commiting eternal suicide, as hatred is as good as murder.

I am female oriented, no doubt, but being violated as a kid, makes it difficult to deal with men just a couple years older sometimes.  I am thankful for the difficulties I don't have.

I do not understand why God said what He said.

I don't want to make anyone's life harder than it is.  All I am required to do is give God's opinion as recorded in the Bible, and address the needs of people such as food, medical care, and basic human dignity.  But I guess some people think they are God so then they give their own fire and brimstone unto others.

I think the definition of homophobic is getting generous.

Can a person who can respect, honestly, two committed adults of the same gender deny homophobia?  Probably.

Does he lose that privilege if he agrees with the statement
"God does not condone or tolerate, but instead punishes, sexual behavior between two adults of the same gender?"

So tell me, am I a homophobe or not?

Note:  I do not believe God will punish me with Hell for disagreeing with Him on this one.  I think I will understand one day either in this life or definitely in the next.  But it does seem a little harsh on a husband and wife whose only difference to the mainstream is what gender they are.

I CAN respect that.

Now, the rampant promiscuous stuff elsewhere mentioned in the book, yeah God says sin, I say it is out of line because it shows disrespect for other people.

I would be happy to stop bringing it up.  It is not important to say what everyone knows, it is important to say what they don't know.

Case in point, I thought the Sabbath was on Sunday.
A Seventh Day Adventist showed me in five minutes why the Sabbath was on Saturday.

Now a lot of so-called Christians not only think the Sabbath is on Sunday they also think they "should" hate gay people.

"Everybody who hates his brother is a murderer, and we know a murderer has no everlasting life."

It's one thing to get the days mixed up, but if you hate your brother, you're killing yourself.

Our Book, which we presume to written with God's permission, says what God likes and dislikes as far as behavior.  That is all.

But vengenance belongs to God.  Love is our order, to love, to help guide people to safety, not to disseminate poison.

Just think about it.

And if you want to get precise, Max, God hates some behavior, but loves all people.

When I signed up for this gig I did not sign up to hate anyone.

I encourage bitter people to save their words for people who actually have malice in their hearts.

I will say that Christianity actually tells people to hate to shut up and love or risk the fire of Hell.

I don't lose any sleep at night about not having enough babies running around.  Get rid of the sex education and everything, let kids drop out of school at 12, and we will be as fertile as Pakistan.  Or just let Pakistan, Mexico, Guatemala, Third World countries with pronatalist world religions worry about making babies, and whilist we well-educated Western professionals have one child if we mutually consent to one (two max), maybe we will liberalize our immigration and educate some other children to make up the slack.

Pakrat, they are illegal immigrants.  They are not even asking for asylum.  They just came into America and are trying to attract as little attention as possible.

The crazy thing is that America is so decentralized in government and business.  You can get a driver's license if you are illegal because the Department of Motor Vehicles is a state agency in Virginia and Virginia is a separate jurisdiction from the Federal government which handles immigration.  State and local police are not even required to enforce immigration law.  

Yes, a computer check could connect all the dots at lightning speed, was discussed after 9/11, but has a downside, nobody wants a national Gestapo, a Federal police that is too efficient, worries about what that might do to personal privacy and freedoms. Ever see the movie Enemy of the State?  

States and Feds squabble.  It is in American history.  The Civil War.  Even now.  California says yes to medical marijuana.  The Feds say no.  The Feds say that your driver's licenses should be a national ID card.  Washington DC and 7 states say no.

The only thing that keeps banks, states, departments of motor vehicles, and Federal agencies from efficiently sharing information in real time by computer link is the lack of will of the governments to act together, theoretically, the lack of will of the citizens.  
a. mortgage- not if you are illegal
b. public university - not if you are illegal
c. driver's license - not if you are illegal
d. pulled over - if you are illegal, you are detained pending deportation

It is far too easy to do that.

Now, what keeps many Christians up at night is the computer chip under the skin.  Hell, that's been tested successfully on animals.  My cat has one.

So, how efficient a national law enforcement system do we want against the average man or woman, who probably is a decent person?

Yes, Saint, I find your words do apply to my brother falsely (indirectly) accused of being a potential threat to neighbor's kids (stay away from _____).   His boss hated losing him, but my brother wanted acceptance someplace else (Washington), and turned up in Ballston (Arlington County) lickety split.  

I suppose Arlington County attracts lots of computer types, and if some of them have Asperger, seem off, and don't attract ladies in and out, nobody notices as much as they do between Martinsburg WV and the Virginia state line.

Virginia does not need seven or eight laws to do the work of one or two laws unless they want to offend people and encourage them to leave.
