I myself am straight but I have to say, if I were gay I'd probably have had a lot less frustration in certain areas of my life because Men arent NEARLY as picky as women in terms of who they sleep with. Thats the thing about the Gay Dating Scene-supply meets demand without all the fierce competition.

Everytime I meet a gay guy I always try to figure out who's on top and who's the 'bottom'. If I meet them in Person its often fairly easy to tell but not here since I dont Really Truly know what anyone is actually like in the flesh.

Well Max, despite my interest in homosexuality, Im ultimately Not sexually attracted to men. When it comes to sex I really do prefer women. Yet I realize that its probably to my detriment since I find women rather hard to get along with. One thing to bear in mind though, is that straight people-even straight men-will engage in homosexual behaviour when they are deprived of access to women for lengthy periods of time. Im pretty sure thats what ancient greek soldiers did when they went away to war;and its Certainly what happens in American prisons.
Yeah Batman55, that's certainly true. Though I never made such a claim that "likes it there=gay". The thing is, it seems like certain people are just looking to be offended. Moreover, I am rather suprised that my posts having to do with gender and sexuality are just about always interpreted as being 'offensive'. Other than the thread about Strumpets no one has explicitly told me what is its Exactly about my posts that offends people. I firmly believe that some of the things I have said are in fact, unpleasant truths and it certainly annoys me when people get offended by someone who promulgates the truth.
As I said quite some time ago, I have experienced far more discrimination in life by virtue of being a female than because of having Asperger's syndrome.
That might have to do with the fact that you live in Australia, which I hear is a rather sexist societ. But bear in mind though that MANY women would disagree with you regarding you stance on the abortion issue-ESPECIALLY here in the United States where the birth rate is reasonably high.

Hmmm, I dont need to your diagnostic criteria. For a long time I have been known to chant swearwords and obscene vulgar limirics under my breath. Ghettormouth for me is a sort of 'Stimming'. But really and truly miss, my issues are completely off topic and Im not discussing them any further.
I sometimes wonder if abortion were Not available on demand; people would have a much stronger incentive to use protection[including contraception] so there would be a decrease in unwanted pregnancies. Now Batman55, we already have quite a few people in this world and the human population as a whole is not in any danger of catastrophic decline. What really gets me about the movement in the USA to ban abortion And contraception is that the have ulterior motives. The pro-life movement here isnt overly concerned about eugenics: they dont want more autistic babies, what they want is more White babies.
No, I havent got anything against white people having more babies. BUT, Im not overly concerned at this point that the white race is under threat of extinction. I dont particularly tie my indentity to being "white" nor do I think that whites should be the dominate racial group in terms of shear numbers.
Now back to the original topic. The Reason why homosexuality is and has been such a taboo in many cultures is beause it does not lead to procreation. To back up my claim that humanity has been aware of homosexual behaviour since ancient times is the fact that there's an (in)famous verse from the old testament[written sometime before 1000BC] which specifically forbades homosexual conduct. Many countries had "sodomy laws" ; including the US[I believe some southern states still have these laws on the books] and in particular-author Oscar Wilde and mathematician Alan Turing were both jailed in the UK for violation of such laws.People here say that Im vulgar in my dscriptions of male homosexual acts but doesnt that reflect the social taboo that gay sex is dirty and nasty and should never be discussed openly?
