Big brother and other assorted reality shows.
Star trek.
I hate all of those tv shows listed especially big brother. I just find them shallow and idiotic. I dont watch tv that much at all apart from Hollyoaks because even though its show it has real life stories behind it. I refer to the tv as the idiot box!!

(must kill tv!!!!)
I never watch any of those shows either. I think they are strictly for NTs.
I can't think of any redundant shows right now, don't watch enough TV

lol.

Mel. I know of a substance called thermite, it has featured on tv now it can kill it for you, thermite will kill and cremate the TV all in one go

Shows that I have heard about from people that I have to associate myself with. Merely hearing about these makes me want to die.
Gilmore Girls
One Tree Hill
Things of the Dawsons Creek genre.

i think a lot of people NTs and especiallly AS are gonna get you for that!

I never could get into Star trek or those other space shows.

Depend on the series, Enterprise was garbage, TNG was great.
Sportscasts.  In particular golf, tennis or car racing.  But sport is the national religion here in Oz unfortunately, so I'm a heretic...

We stat geeks might be offended by that. Sports are filled with things to analyze, criticize, and enjoy. With fantasy leagues popping up, football is increasingly become a sport for the neurotic aspie.

Did they ever explain how it was possible for species arising on separate planets to produce fertile offspring?    It's been too long since I watched it.  (V0y4g3r f0r t3h w1n!)

I've lost pretty much all the patience I ever had for tv and now spend my life on the computer.  I think discovery and tlc were the last networks I started to hate, it was that "dating story" and "wedding story" crap that finally turned me off of that.  One of them started up with that crap, and then bought the other channel so it started showing up there.  Doesn't really matter which was which, they're both evil now

I found friends to be rather useless as a TV show.  Anything else on NBC is probably similar.  Fox used to be good, but they started picking up on reality TV.  Game shows also suck.

What do you think of HBO? They have some quality stuff.

How do you get HBO in Finland?  I have digital satellite TV (in England) and even though there must be at least 200 channels from around the world, HBO isn't one of them.

Hmm thanks for the information Pikachu you'll have to lend me some lol.

( Yay I get to kill tv litterally)

[quote="IHadTheRuns"]Everything on FOX: I used to like Family Guy, but that show went to the dark side (why?). Everything else is either a diluted shadow of their former self (Simpsons) or trash (everything else). Oh yeah, and FOX drove Arrested Development to the ground.[quote]
And this is where an arguement breaks out. How is Family Guy any worse now than before? It's better than ever! Weed out a few bad episodes(the Island episode was horrid), and you have things like PTV. It's brilliant as before, and only getting better.

IHadTheRuns Wrote:
I feel that Family Guy went to the dark side because in my mind, the material has died off (this is due to the increasing prevalence of those stupid jokes that aren't funny and run on and on and on for at times several minutes (ex. "novel" gag, Peter's touchdown dance, Peter arguing about not liking the Godfather, etc.)). That and FG's traditional stand-up style of joke-telling is just going too far. There are just too many of them and they're either hit or miss.

Family Guy can redeem itself, but the writers just have to get their heads out of their own asses and start focusing on the comedy again.

The novel gag turned out great in the end. The songs are all references to musicals, and cannot be done in part. Godfather gag did get on my nerves a bit, but produces the great line about it "insisting upon itself". You cannot watch PTV and tell me that you have something better to do than watch it.
