I have just joined to the site and want say hello. My main interest is gameing so i thought this would be a good way to say Hi.
Now about final fantasy, I love it, i have played them all exept for FF3, I Play Final Fantasy 11:online, Have seen both of the movies and the anime final fantasy:unlimited.
Its hard to pick a favourite, but i will say 6,7 and 9 for now ^_^
I am also looking foward to FF12, 13 and kingdom hearts 2.
Playing KH2 now. It's awesome. Already release in the states; you're in for a treat.
Hell yes. Although I'm only into the games, not all the cash-in merchandise. I'm looking forward to KH2 too, its the only game that both my sister and I have loved.

I missed out on a lot of the earlier ones since there was a long blackout in my gaming between 5th or 6th grade and...oh...college. Still though I did try FFX, went back to play FFVII, FFVIII, and FFIX. Out of those I have to agree with a lot of my friends that FFVII is probably the best, FFIX I liked a lot as well, FFVIII didn't do much for me for some reason, and FFX I thought had a good engine and I liked playing it once I got into things passed the first few hours of play. As for FFXII I got that a couple mondays ago and I'm really liking it - the characters are pretty solid, I'm liking the storyline and plot, the upgrade scheme is interesting, the only thing I'm not liking is how they like to throw elemental entities in at random in a lot of places where they're way past your skill level. My thoughts on FFXII - I can't compare it to VI or III since I haven't played those but I do think it could easily hold its own with VII on a lot of angles - I'm just hoping the story stays as interesting as it has been so far.
As a random fact apparently FFX-2 is a prequel to FFVII (by like, a few decades or even centuries)
I just love the contrast though, Spira being all bright and nice looking, and the world in FF7 which has much in common with shanty towns in indonesia or the less well off members of the ex soviet bloc (apart from midgar which was great
)

Some even think Esthar in FF8 use a form of mako power due to the wasteland from their "experiments" around the continent
And its a long shot but since theres always a man called Cid in every Final Fantasy game, perhaps they're all parralel worlds, ie the same but different
(if ya look at shinra soldiers, especially those seen in the anime last order..you'll see they look a lot like galbadian ones from FF8)
