Here's a suggestion - it might be worth approaching the Guardian journalist Charlotte Moore, who has two autistic sons, and appears to be relatively sympathetic to the anti-cure perspective. She has stated on the BBC website that she doesn't believe in curing autism, and wouldn't want one. She might be willing to come along to the main London event and do a piece for the Guardian on Autistic Pride Day events in Britain. She might even be willing to write about it in advance.
I don't know how you might get a hold of her though. Possibly one might start by phoning the Guardian and trying to get her email address.
