I'm positive everyone knows, but for those who don't, for the fifth race, the Draenei have been announced as alliance race. Check out wow sites for more info... all i gotta say is, they look sweet and i can finally make a giant paladin!
Oh, the lore cry-babies who need to pull the sticks out of their-well, they look cool anyway.
they can cry all they want, Lore's been uphold as far as i know.

Something about it contridicting with a single paragraph of old lore. A light re-write and some word swapping and no harm done. Some people seem to care too much about something that's not real.
Amen.. as for whatever paragraph is wrong, it could be a rewrite, or something like that.. ever noticed how the people who complain about the race not being up to spec lorewise aren't even the roleplayers in half of the case?

My suggestion: their parents throw them out of their basements.
Anyways, let's get back on topic.. The Draenei will most likely have the three classes i know of: Warrior (standard for all races) Paladin and Priest, if they'll be given mage or anything additional remains to be seen, but i think they're the flipside of the bloodelves, considering that they get all the "good" classes, whilst the bloodelves get the "evil" and some of the neutral classes. The classes are pretty much balanced, since the Horde races with exception of the undead can turn Hunter after BC, and the alliance has 2 possible hunter races, the alliance makes up for it with having more possible priests, having most of their races able to go that way with the exception of gnomes, whilst the Horde only has undead and troll priests.
After BC's release, we'll finally see a special class balance, with the alliance getting their third Paladin race, which i believe to be important, since there wasn't alot of variety in paladins earlier, now we'll get alot of small, medium and large sized paladins! Whether or not the racial features will have to do with their mastery over the Light or their affinity with it remains to be seen, i for one believe this will be the case.
Draenei get Hunters and mages in addition to their other classes.
My concern is that azuremyst isle (their starting location and location of race capital) is off the west coast of the darkshore area, kinda close to Teldrassil and the Night elf capital.
Their racials are blessing of the naaru, which gives them healing over time, a bonus to jewelcrafting, a bonus to arcane damage defense, and an aura that gives allies an extra chance to hit.
Extra hit chance?! Cool.. As for the island, the world map was drawn by dwarves and humans, for all we know, everyone skipped that island. The racials sound very good though!

Here's the funny part: It's an extra hit chance of 1%. Yes, 1 measly percent.
Blood elves get area-of-effect ability that stops enemies using spells, can tap enemy mana, can get bonus mana for having extra mana taps whilst using the AOE ability, get +5% to all magic defenses (nature, fire, frost, etc.) as well as a bonus to enchanting.
Is it just me or are the racials kinda unfair?
Dude, considering an equal level fight, you have a 99% base chance to hit with everything. That +1%? It's extremely valuable. The cooldowns on those abilities from the NE are probably really high.

Oddly enough, the blessing of Naaru ability (draenei heal) is 3 minute cooldown and the BE no-spell attack is on 2 min cooldown.
I think it's less a matter of 1v1 but instead the alliance is getting better PvE (Heal can reduce downtime) and the horde get's better PvP.
About a year ago I wouldn't have understood a thing you've said here, but then I fell in love with Matrix Online. About 3 characters and 70-80 lvls later we broke up. She took the kids.

But I'm a n00b. I have played MxO and Guild Wars and tried EVE online once... I might go back to MxO, though. Is WoW any good?

WoW is one of the better MMO's out there, but with some great features come some very great faults, such as poor endgame, poor community, poor PvP. Still, it's the best out, until Warhammer Online is released, methinks.
