Hi binxygurl, sounds like the person on the show was trying to sell a book or product.
Everybody has their miracle cure for autism and schizophrenia and polydactylia and cancer and demon infestation and men looking too much like their mothers. Reminds me of an SNL skit, where a man would come out and say "Call now and send me fifty dollars, and I will send you my new book How to Get People to Send You Fifty Dollars for a Book." I wouldn't take it too seriously.
