Greetings my friends and peers.
I would like to talk to you about some ideas myself and sjc88 (his name on the forum) have been discussing, about political representation for the Autistic community.
some of our ideas include: No to racism, No to homophobia, Cracking down on crime and Full representation for the Autistic community politically in Great Britain.
All we want is security, and an end to predudice in all its myriad forms.
Thank you for your time.
Ian Moore.
Yes it is, a political party. one that won't be like the others! the liberal democrats, the conservatives and labour....all the same just in different colours.
Britain needs change, will we get it?
Ian
How about just lobbying existing political parties and petitioning elected government officials?
Some small fringe party is not going to get much good attention for autism. Demanding rights that individuals are guarenteed in a Bill of Rights (or whatever Brits have) makes more sense. We do not have hold office with our own party to be heard.
ah but you must remember, this is not just about Autism, forgive me for sounding callous but this is also to advance my own political ideas.
Ian
What's the point of starting a political party that is never going to get any sort of representation? In the UK it's possible for a party to get a million votes and if they are evenly spread you'll not get a single MP.
There is sometimes more to this than simply managing to get actual seats, there is also the possibility of proving a point in a way which politians pay the most attention to, that being election results, if you can successfully get a large number of voters to vote for your party even if you do get in you can induce debate in the other parties because of the large result they will see the backing that such oppinions have within the electorate, just look at some of the shifts made by some of the other parties on the europe issue after the UKIP ran and gained a large number of votes it forced the other parties to see the relaities of public oppinion.
Of course to do anything like this is an extremely vast undertaking, a nationwide campain will need to involve many thousands of dedicated people and a huge stack of donations towards the cost of the campaign which to be sucessful will almost certainly run into the millions, even just to bring public oppinion on your side to prove a point with the votes at the ballet box is neither cheep nor easy to do.
spartacus - no-one is superior to anybody else! Your view leads directly to the kind of high-functioning supremacist views espoused by Temple Grandin et al. We are here to support the rights of the low-functioning as well.
everyone deserves a voice.
the will of the people, be done!
The hijacking of the original thread no matter how old is always lamentable.
Ah well i'm not sure anymore, i've gone off Totalitarianism and am now pursueing various business ideas ;p
Ian
Oh and uhh... your post sounds like ooh what is it...
NAZI BULLSHIT.

Somebody lock this topic.
It's become tainted.

He's being Anti Semetic, Bob.
Which is of course, Nazi ideology...I must admit I do like his honesty..he doesn't sugarcoat his hate with transparent lies like the BNP does..he gets up and shouts out his racial hatred
It sickens me and empowers me at the same time.
