America, a shame, I don't know what is going wrong over there. It seems one crook thing after another is being dished out.
Mind you there are quite a few things I like over there and have business relations there as well. (via skype / email / phone). So you never know when I'll pop up.
The last goverment tried to go down the road of attacking individual rights, freedoms, working conditions, welfare etc to bring them into line with Bush & co and they were promptly shown the door. It is not tolerated here. A fair go for everyone.
Free public hospitals for all. Free Education for all, free university for all, (OK the gov gives a bill now, but don't really pay interest and it is based on wages( low tax, public housing etc), universal welfare (you don't pay for welfare). ASIC, (that makes sense with a business, believe me)
Gun murders so rare they make national news if someone even gets wounded. But there are probs. There are a lot of crucial differences. In nearly every area I can think of.
From what I recall they (IR) have a sunset clause imposed now, so while you are under one, till it comes to an end, (most are around 4 - 5 years to go) it stays. But all new ones are outlawed. I heard of night security guys getting down to $3.00 / hr under these former IR. With toilet breaks, lunch breaks and all sorts of things thrown out. Was a disgrace.
At least getting we are getting a bit of space even though Kev is little more than hot air.
What, not two at the same time?
Yeah more examples please...."Beaver is a fish"
Rain is completely right of course boys are Gross! We also look very silly naked.
Lesbians on the other hand...
No don't worry there, I was being flippant. I know a lot of lesbians are certifiable whack-whacks just as some gay men are camp and some aren't,just like some black men are athletic and some aren't,like some Jewish people are good with money and ......Of course one fundamental steroetype is truth. Aussies are legends

I think the de-evolution of the appendix (cecum) was due to a meat diet in man and it became redundant. The darn thing in other mammals (herbivores) is used to digest otherwise undigestible cellulose with symbiotic bacteria. (Campbell & Reece, 2005)
As for me, I wish we never had the darn thing at all since I suffered a ruptured appendix, nearly died and spent two months recovering from it, mostly in hospital.
Ah what about the Gall Bladder. Mine is coming out this month. It is pretty *** crook.
Good luck with the op grumpy. My wife had pain in that region plus nusea and occassional vomitus. So an ultrasound revealed a gallbladder loaded with stones so out it comes via laprascopy. that part is not a big deal done this way. But nearly nine months our daughter was born. Well pregnancy won't be a complicating factor at least.

No reckon I am safe there.
However if you are saying that the op will have some sort of a flow on effect to my non-existent sex life I say this is an operation to look forward to.

There are few complications. But won't have anything to do with the sex life. My wife just gets a bit nauseous if she eats anything with a high fat content, that is all. Plus a little bit of discomfort (gas) post op thanks to the injected air that holds the abdomen open. But fast recovery nowdays thanks to the tiny incision rather than the old style of cut and slash.
Rain, glad to see you survived that. infection in the abdominal cavity hurts like hell for quite a while afterwards.
Hey thank Rain. Hey I do OK with pain. To be honest the three things I am most worried about in order are
1. Whether my time or ability to spend quality time with my children will be compromised
2. How much time I will lose and be docked pay for from work
3. Whether my heart will be OK (Had heart attack on Mother's Day) Not fun.

My bad. When you said your child was born 9 months later......
Lol!

I had to read that twice, compgrokker, to work out the various relationships. Not helped by the fact that I didn't know initially whether you were male or female.
So, anyhoo, yes indeed!

lol sorry guys. I'm female, bi, and my fiance doesn't have a problem with it. He and I just got tired of my conniving, lying, manipulative **** of a girlfriend and her husband. Yes I make my life very complicated sometimes. That was the reason for my couple-month-long hiatus from here and from irc, I was spending time with her. I'm going to chalk her up to a learning experience.
