Well, it all depends. Sometimes, the right girl just pops on in, and tells you she "likes" you likes you.
*blush*
Vice verse too.

As someone with two XX chromosomes. I manage to find a good match. He might be NT but he's strange one :3

And even though I approched him it was he who persued me. We became buddies and now were are lovers. He's wonderful, he loves me with all my stims, and social flaws and I feel happy
I'm married to an Aspie, wouldn't change it, were high school sweethearts and we've been married for 9 and half yrs.  I am an NT. I fell in love with him because even though he did go out alot and was a little bit of loner, he was and is very loyal and was a true gentlemen in the way he went about dating me it made for a weird mix of formality, as he pulled out chairs and opened car doors, etc.  But he was kind,  some times awkward but very true to what he said and did, and still is.  Though his temper has caused it's problems over the years.

good luck,
Absolutely.  I have been married for nearly 15 years (anniversary in August), have 3 wonderful children, and am so thankful that it worked out as will as it did.  My wife is a saint--accepting and patient and willing to put up with me and my oddities.  We didn't know I was AS until about three months ago, though I had my suspicions for some eight years prior.  Take heart--if a geek like me can find a partner, then anyone can!
I wish I could get a GF....
1. If aspies were unable to find a partner of the opposite sex,

2. Aspies could not reproduce,

3. Therefore there would be no more aspies,

4. Unless of course:

  a. Aspie is a false model based upon disparate information that happens to fit a logical construct.

  b. Aspie is a phenotype that skips one or more generations and is only expressed in a dead-end line.

  c. See "Bean takes a European Vacation" Wink
I was thinking, Danger Danger Will Robinson as soon as I read Johanna's post (Johanna is going to be lunch).  I do not think it was too badly intended for a 15 year old.  She did say she hoped to see her again.

Don't give Johanna the full treatment you'd give a 38 year old OK?  She's just a teenager, a minor.  Her brain is still developing.  Prefrontal cortex..... that doesn't completely develop until the mid twenties.

Let her off with probation.
And of course, goes without saying, adult behavior we expect from all users, adult or not.
I mean, re-emphasize to Johanna what behavior we expect around here.
I was also thinking if a college age girl had to choose between a male co-ed who acts like a nine year old when he is sober and a four year old when he is inebriated and another college girl, she'd come out ahead with another college girl.

Put in (male) dorm residents handbook in Twin Towers East (male dorm, Marshall U)

Elevators are not toilets, no matter how drunk you are

Once I was properly escorted in a female area of dorm.  Damn, they keep the restrooms clean.
My idea for female co-ed magazine title: New Miss Millenium
My idea for male co-ed magazine title: Modern Immaturity
I'm not saying that all women are more mature than all men.  I'm just saying it frequently happens that a woman in a relationship is more mature than the man.  Even though my free thinking is not religiously correct, maybe domestic violence could be dramatically reduced for example when women are committed to other women (also, women would understand one another's needs better than a man would).  At least during the age group 18 to 30, on average, the female gender seems superior, until the male gender catches up, emotionally, interpersonally, and with respect to abiding by the law and living without violence.

1.  Give Johanna a break just in case she didn't learn by observing what happened to me.  Now that she has been told by the authorities what is what, I'd say put her on probation and let her show us she learned our rules.
2.  If a woman like Rain did go out with a woman, it might have advantages in a freethinking sort of way if women frequently but not always make superior mates.
Would a college administrator like to comment on disciplinary infractions by coed gender?
Johanna- it must be remembered that the Apostle Paul also tried to avoid needlessly upseting people.  For example, around people who had issues with certain types of meat (offered to idols), he would not eat that meat.  Being all things to all people so that he might save some is not interpreted as compromise (not to go that far) but as diplomacy.
can aspies get noticed by a girl he likes even with a disability?

in my opinion it has been whether or not it is easier to wait for love to come to you or whether you should make an attempt to find someone you really like and not based on beauty alone! because we all know thats the wrong way to look at it... anyway do you think that having a disability should prevent you from dating or make it hard to date.. or... do you think that even if you have AS or Autism as long as the feelings for each other are there is reason enough to be with the one you love without allowing your disability to stand in the way of dating?
