Just as background: I was essentially a member of the “Different” crowd in high school. After waiting and moving back and forth on the subject for four bloody years, I asked one girl out in HS during my senior year. It lasted one class period.
Go me!

N.T GIRLS ARE FOR"FUN"...
..
ASPIE GIRLS ARE FOR REAL
!....
....juz kiddin ya´´...uh..or am I...!?!
PS"aspie girl´s rocks 4 sure
!!!!"
I'm not Aspie and I have a male friend who is Aspie and he would like a girlfriend too. I joined this site to see if there was a way of helping him.
Please tell me what NT stands for, I assume that's what I am and I'd like to know what it means.
Part of my professional background is in interpersonal skills training and there seems so little help for adult male Aspies to engage in full relationships with women that I"m wondering if there are training courses out there somewhere?

Is it possible?
Will NT girls accept an aspie?
As for my own situation, I am very childish in some situations, especially when sleeping (cuddly toys and fidling with sleeping quilt).
Will an NT ever accept that?
Well, I don't see why any of my taxes should go towards state sponsored brothels or the like. If people want to go to those places, they should use their own money and not expect the taxpayers to fund them. Going to a brothel or seeing a prostitute is a want, not a need. There are way way more important things we Aspies need funded first.
How about vocational agencies, affordable housing, legal advocacy services, and pensions? I think state sponsored brothels should be right at the bottom of the list - what a silly, silly idea to think taxpayers should pay for them.
Most people who go to prostitutes are married, anyway.
Walking Bear, I wonder if your wife is aware of how you are thinking. If so, no wonder things aren't so good in bed for you. I wouldn't like to think of my spouse/boyfriend wanting to do it with other people and especially getting paid.
I also wonder if you really are Aspie. I would have a few doubts.

But this year, I think that I might just have a Valentine!

My one is lovely... sweet, caring, a bit ditzy at times, cute and gorgeous with big bear hugs

Although if I hadn't met her I'd be quite happily single because I hate dating and all the social niceties involved. And randoms trying to kiss me... YUCK.
I don't think the problem is can you not get a girlfriend because of having AS, but can you find a partner who loves you for you. Teenagers are so fickle for the most part when it comes to flirting, romance, love and sex and in my experience a lot of it is about picking the person with the right image, not the right person.
But my teenage years were hell and I never cared about meeting anyone anyway. I only started seeing people because I thought thats what you did. But hey... two awful relationships, an enforced debt problem by one using partner, and a heap of trust problems aggravated by the other later, here I am in one with a woman I want to spend the rest of my life with!
So it can happen.
You aren't alone!
The only reason why girls aspire to such an occupation is because of the roles assigned to women by sexist male dominated society, the way in which society values women according only to how they look and to how much sexual gratification they can provide men with.
That kind of reasoning can be used to justify a paternalistic nanny state where people are told what they should and should not aspire to. If it is consensual I don't a problem with it. The state has no right to tell people what they can or cannot do with their own bodies.
This is exactly what has happened to me.
It's not comfortable to go anywhere without someone, and yet, I cannot meet anybody without going somewhere.
It's a problem.
So it can happen.
Very cool. Best of luck to you both!

Happy Valentine's Day
(Hehe! Sorry, couldn't resist)
The operative word here is "tried". I've spent the last two months building trust and affection with a woman, and finally got the guts to ask her out, and.......got rejected. Really thought maybe I had a chance with her, but, such is typical for me.
Is it possible? I wouldn't know, never had a girlfriend, or anything close to it.
Will NT girls accept an aspie?
I would hope so.
Will an NT ever accept that(sleeping issues, etc)?
I would expect that if an NT loved you enough, they would accept you, and continue loving you regardless of said issues
