good luck,
And another quote:
"Legalization and/or regulation of prostitution, according to the study, led to:
--a dramatic increase in all facets of the sex industry
--a dramatic increase in the involvement of organized crime in the sex industry
--a dramatic increase in child prostitution
--an explosion in the number of foreign women and girls trafficked into the region, and
--indications of an increase in violence against women.
Thats abosolutely ASSININE!
Where , O WHERE did this article come from Jewelie?
Oraganized crime is ALREADY involved in prostitution here in the USofA where its illegal everywhere except Nevada due to bible-buttholes.
Since its illegal there's no regulation and that creates a need for Pimps-who of course have Mob/gang connections. It has been suggested to me that housewives benefit from prostitution's illegality cuz it makes it much harder for men to cheat and their wives AND it gives "respectable" women a monopoly on sexual access. That way they can use sex to manipulate their hubbies.

Is it possible?
Will NT girls accept an aspie?
As for my own situation, I am very childish in some situations, especially when sleeping (cuddly toys and fidling with sleeping quilt).
Will an NT ever accept that?
I've had several. Just not at the same time of course.
As far as the childish things go, you can control it and it shouldn't really matter what you do in solitude behind closed doors.
So Max, why dont you update us on how things are going at your most recent NAMBLA meetings........
I broke it off with her cos she was being a total bitch. So now Im single(again) and loving it
Sometimes its better to be single than to be in a bad relationship with someone who constantly jerks your emotions around.
I'm not Aspie and I have a male friend who is Aspie and he would like a girlfriend too. I joined this site to see if there was a way of helping him.
Please tell me what NT stands for, I assume that's what I am and I'd like to know what it means.
Part of my professional background is in interpersonal skills training and there seems so little help for adult male Aspies to engage in full relationships with women that I"m wondering if there are training courses out there somewhere?
Elaine
Hi Elaine,
NT means neurotypical - basically it refers to the "neurotype" that neurological conditions are measured against. On this site, it generally means "not on the autistic spectrum", although in reality it also excludes other conditions like bipolar, ADHD, etc.
As far as interpersonal skills training with regards to relationships, you're correct in saying that there's not much officially out there. I know that Tony Attwoods clinic's being doing some research fairly recently into Aspie sexuality, but as far as I know there's no official publications resulting from it. There's a few Aspergers relationship "self-help" books around, but all the ones I've heard of so far seem a tad flawed in some way.
Hope this helps, and I'm sure that people on the site would be happy to offer advice on specific scenarios...
