How do I post a picture?

I know this has been asked before but I'm too lazy to go looking through the thread for the answer....  how do I post a picture?  And if the answer is "blah blah blah photobucket", how do I do whatever it is I'm supposed to do with photobucket?  I am NOT technologically literate....  it can take me hours or longer to figure out how to work/navigate a new website.

  I finally got around to getting a Flickr acount a while ago.  Here's two pictures, one of me before I dyed my hair, the other after:

  Yes, I get a lot of compliments on my hair.  People don't seem to beleive that the curls are natural.
The "woods" are the trees and ferns in my front and back yards.  

Oh, katie, what a gorgeous hawk!  It's hard to tell in the photo, but am I right in guessing it's a redtail?  What's it's name?
