There is a firm plan for the protest with 5 people already going.
If you can join the peaceful protest in Windsor, just outside London, on July 2nd please post here.
The protest is against the fundraising for a cure for autism.
These are details of the walk -
People will be going to the Great Park in Windsor for a sponsored walk to raise money for a cure for autism. The money goes to Autism Speaks.
The exact postcode for the Ground is SL4 2HP. It is a portion of a The Great Park. The entrance to the walk is leading off a public car park which is just off the A332.
Join the A332 at Windsor and head towards Bracknell. As you enter the Great Park there is a pink house on your left hand side, the next turning left takes you to the public 'car park' and if you drive along and look to your left that is the site. The walks are then marked out from the site. The walk actually starts at 2pm. But protestors will be there earlier to greet everyone as they arrive with signs, leaflets, and banners.
We may be able to persuade people not to take part at all, once they realise what the walk is really funding.
Amy, when you print up the leaflets, be sure to include the URL of the Buxbaum interview so that the people can see the evidence for themselves.
We may quote from it as people may not want to type in the URL
Not long now til the protest.
If anyone can join on the 2nd July, please let us know.
The protest is not long off now, exactly 1 week from today. I will be attending and am currently making preparations. Others are interested and hope to have a large effect and make our presence felt. Anyone else who can attend please let me know.
Hi, i want to come to the protest and have just looked at maps of the Great Windsor park. which gate are you meeting at off the A332? is it the Rangers gate? Thanks
Balvinder
The entrance is Queen Anne's gate which is on the A332. It is the car park entrance too.
Anyone who can come, please arrive by 10.30-11am.
Due to ilness, and subsequent delays in getting done the things I need to do, I won't be able to attend this protest after all.
Best of luck
Ben
