Its kind of half finished so far.
What else is needed? I aim for it to be promote discussion of the autism prenatal test
before it arrives, otherwise it will eventually be discovered and be brought into use, then discussed.
That's really good Amy.
If you can get the search ranking high enough, it should give any parents googling and searching for a prenatal autism test some food for thought.
It should come up high for the keywords of autism prenatal test.
I wonder if there are any articles written about "prenatal testing for preparing parents for their choice". That choice is for abortion or not.
I met a family with a down's syndrome child. People were making comments such as "there's a prenatal test for that". Their answer was that the test was so that parents could prepare for that child's needs. That family was obviously "pro-choice" and would not have aborted the child. I just wonder if a woman is opposed to abortion anyway, why even have the test? Not taking the test is an option too.

What kind of preparation does a family make when they know they are going to have a child with Down's syndrome? - answers to rude comments about their child's conditions. Maybe they will start up a trust fund for their child's future. So I am asking why is prenatal testing put up as option for "preparing the parents?"
another site with article about prenatal testing in general. (Christian site)

Deaf culture and some parent's choice of selecting for a deaf child:

I think people need to know that I am not suffering from autism. I am suffering from people's attitudes towards autistic behaviours. (is that a good way to express this?) Just as someone who is deaf is not suffering from being deaf when they are immersed in the deaf culture.
I understand that 90% of women who have been diagnosed with a Down's Syndrome child abort the child, and are under incredible pressure to do so. I've also heard that prolife women who would never kill their unborn children have a devil of a time getting doctor's permission to skip the test.
Welcome to the culture of death.
Another interesting statistic is that postabortion groups report that something like 93% of women who abort regret it. So even if prenatal genocide against autistic, downs syndrome and other untypical babies doesn't shock, shouldn't the harm done to women by pushing these tests and then pushing abortions count for something?
