Hehe, i just have my trusty 250 gig usb external... saw one for 500, but not willing to put down the 354,95 for it.
hard to do a USB raid on a PC last time I checked, although u can do it on an apple!
some dude did a floppy disk raid array on his apple mac - he said it drasticaly improved read-write speeds lol
I don't think the box the guy was trying it on would work.

USB devices are just other volumes - no reason why they can't be placed into a software RAID. Of course hardware RAID is a different story.....
If i remember rightly, this guy was using a Dell running windoze.
