We should wear big orange armbands in response with a prominent "ANTI-CURE" printed on them.

I found this on the site....

We would like to hear from you. If you have a story you wish to share about your personal experience with autism, please send it to editors@autismspeaks.org. We will be publishing our readers' personal stories on a regular basis. Stories can be about anything relating to your experience with autism: for example, how you coped with hearing the diagnosis, what you've gained or lost in raising a child or children with autism, special people you've encountered along the way, how you've shared the experience with others, or perhaps a unique individual in your life who has dealt with autism. We will periodically request submissions on a specific topic, so please be sure to check in with us regularly. Stories should be no longer than 1,000 words and may be edited by Autism Speaks. Photos and videos are also welcome.

I wonder if they would like to hear any of our special stories?

Edan dagan invented the concept of wearing orange band on the wrist to indentify other aspergians. Autism Speaks now tells people to wear orange to show support for a cure!

They are watching and appropiating the color for their own ends!!!

I couldnt find the page, and couldnt find the piece about wearing orange, could you paste it here?

I did that, and it still didnt work.
I am Citrus the orange lord, I am angered by this. The orange shall have vengance.
The orange has looked at the link:

The orange sees that it seems to be orange to show support for a team - this confuses the orange.
Will there be lots of autism speaks curebies turning up at events wearing these?

You think curebie parents can be harsh?  Try reading the forums of NT spouses railing against their AS partners!
Read one by accident once.... still haven't recovered.... {near heart failure}

I think its more effective to identify autistics by black rather than orange.

Convenient. I can grab anything out of my wardrobe. It'll work great so long as we don't need to congregate near a goth/death rock club.

green is the color wheel oppsite to orange maybe a nice emerald green sign.

Lets see

           Green       Blue
Yellow              /            Purple
           Orange     Red

I think their colour should be gang-green or putrid purple. Orange is a nice colour and shouldn't be misused for such things as autism speaks complete nonsense.

or how about brown because there so full of sh...Tongue

Yes, sounds good. As long as it is one of the yukky shades of brown.

Something even more disgusting, that's a fairly nice shade of brown. Something with more of a sludgy greyish green tinge to it perhaps.
Maybe you could make the puzzle piece brown (although blue looks perfectly fine, too).
